What the title says. I want to add a poll, but I am not sure about the options. There are so many types of government, so I don't know what I want to include and what to exclude. I have representative democracy, direct democracy, monarchy, autocracy, theocracy and anarchy on my list so far. I did not even see that I was in the US politics zone. I for a moment even forgot that there was a division between the two. I just exited the Republican thread and thought I was in the right zone. |

Theocracy is state governed by a religious authority not a technological one. The best form of state atm is Representative Democracy but best almosg implies it isn't a senseless and self destructive as the rest of them. |

I have to admit that the "theocracy" part was a bit tongue-in-cheek because some futurists (like Ray Kurzweil) like comparing superintelligent AIs to gods. Maybe I should change it to make it look more like a joke. |

A technocracy describes a state ruled by scientists and engineers, not their products (though it could go hand in hand). |
