If You had the ability to enact/repeal one law...

You now have the ability to enact/repeal one law in your country without the approval of anyone. And yes, the law is irreversible unless you specifically say so.

What would you do?

I would legalize marijuana for the public. That would decrease crime and prisons, and increase medical research and the economy. However, I'd heavily tax it.

For me, I would impose a couple of things...

  • Have all aspects of mass media "screened" before they get into the public eye. That includes movies, TV shows and even degenerate pop music. If it had happened though, then things like The Emoji Movie or the Dweeber wouldn't be things to talk about.
  • Smartphones to only be sold to the business market, and just curse the rest of the populace with "dumb phones". That way we wouldn't have seen a generation of dimwits playing Candy Crush all day or whatever else.
  • And finally, outright ban social media. Or if not, to be heavily regulated (but not like how Facebook is dealing with things though)

For a bonus... if anybody insults or disrespects the Scottish comedy Still Game, even within Scotland itself, they will face the death penalty. Even if one says a simple remark about it where everyone else thinks it's a "work of god" and you belittle it by saying that you don't like it or say it sucks, they'll roast you. I'm not kidding here :ermm:

But here you can only impose one, so what will it be? Also, no making laws that allow you to make more laws.

And what are the qualifications in order for a mass media movie to pass the screening?

For it to not bring shame to the populace, like what The Emoji Movie had done. Simple.

We will never know whether or not it’ll bring shame until we release it to the public.

Well, it can be screened first via social media and all that, right? Yeah, it's a difficult process but I've been dreaming of it for years.

Well then, it would no longer be such a “free” country then, hm?

A lot of leftists here in the US actually use your country a lot when they want to tell why they want more gun control.

I'd rather own a gun than not, tbh.
