We frown upon nudity in public (most people), but can exceptions be made when a mother is breastfeeding her child?

It's the most natural thing in the world, so why should it offend anyone? I mean, I once saw a woman breastfeeding her child in a Morrisons cafe and practically nobody kicked up a fuss about it.

I also see nothing wrong with it. Some who oppose public breastfeeding will look at attractive women wearing more revealing clothing and not care. A bit ironic, hm?

As long as they're being reasonably discreet about it, I don't have a problem with it.

(I accidentally voted 'Yes', because I thought the poll question was about whether it should be legal >_< )

No it shouldn't be, why should an infant have to wait to feed cause society says so.

There are ways around it - and I agree with Kyng, discretion is definitely a good thing.
My wife used to wear hear headscarf super long so she could feed and be entirely covered simultaneously.

That way, she's covered (as is important in Islam) and our child could feed - especially if we couldn't get to a parents room.

But I've seen people breastfeed in public and nobody really cares. Men just walk past, glance for a brief two seconds, and keep walking.

Not all men are natural pervs, that is an over generalization.
