Suarez, Devito and their Goblin had made their way out of the police HQ's immediate area, bounding up the wider path and separating from the rest of the party in order to lose the few monsters still on their trail. Now their pursuers have finally given up and turned back - only to leave them stranded in an unfamiliar part of downtown. Given the high quantity of seedy bars and narrow, cracked alleys, this appears to have been some sort of red-light district before the Apocalypse, though now it is clear that there isn't a soul left here... ...or is there? In the distance, several blocks down, the two can spot a blood-red flag flying over an apartment complex. |

Seeing they are no longer with the group Frankie says "I prefer it this way, they would only slow us down." there is a hint of distress in his voice, he was not happy that they lost the others. looking over toward the red flag flying over the apartments Frankie turns to Tony saying "lets check this place out, be ready, anything could be hiding in there." Frankie, holding his gun at the ready, moves toward the building followed closely by Tony, clinging tightly to his own weapon, and the Goblin. |

As they proceed, Suarez and Devito can see signs of battle - spent ammunition casings, bloodstains and more corpses. Some of the bodies appear to be uniformed, gangsters who wore either the red of the Bloods or the blue of the Crips. Others wore black and red, and yet others appear to have been civilians who had the misfortune of getting caught in the crossfire. It's clear that while the skirmish may have occurred not too long ago, given the relative freshness of the blood and bodies, there isn't a soul left here. ...or is there? As they proceed, Suarez in particular can hear a rustling sound down an alley to his left... |

Frankie looks at the bodies not moved in the least, but thinking what happend here. His train of thought was interrupted when he heared the rustling from the alley, Frankie turned toward the sound gun pointing down the alley. He motioned the other two to be quiet and follow him, than he started heading for the sound, his trigger finger itching and his gun loaded. |

No amount of preparation could have prepared Suarez for the shock of a large rock being hurled at him from the shadows, or for the three red-skinned, misshapen humanoids with crescent-shaped heads emerging from the dark alley to engage him. They don't seem friendly, at all... Enemies: 3x Sandmen |

The Goblin seeing the attack casts debuff at one of the enemies. -5MP 0MP left Frankie taken back a little by the attack fires off one shot from his shotgun (2 shots left) at the three creatures saying "What the fuck is that!". Once the shot is fired Tony tries to hit the same creature with his police baton. OOC How many shots per turn can I take with my shotgun? And does it have an effect on more than one enemy or just one? And Barry really three Sandmen, are you trying to kill off my guy?

Frankie fires at the Sandman (one shot left). Tony fights through the pain and swings for the Sandman with his baton, as the Goblinalso attacks the sandman(if sandman 1 is already defeated he goes for sandman 2). OOC So how do I not fight them? Run away? |

Frankie laughs saying "One Down." as the sand man drops dead. Frankie than takes his last shot at the second sandman. Tony jumps in swinging at the same one trying to keep them off the hurt Goblin, as the Goblin half dead keeps up the attack on the second Sandman. After the flurry of attacks Frankie says "We killed one of you. Unless the two of you are set on dieing, I'd talk this out." OOC Frankie dosnt run so 'talk' it is, if the sandmen will bite. 'Speak softly and carry a big stick' right?

The third Sandman levitates a large rock and prepares to hurl it, but is halted by the other's hand motion. It hisses in English, complete with an unrecognizable accent that made it difficult to understand, "Hah...so you did. Bastard. We demons, we can respect bastards as long as they can back up their trash talk. So - why the hell are you still fighting us? Should've run while you had the chance, 'fore we finish you off." |

Frankie loads his gun glaring at the Sandman with a small and evil grin creeping onto his face saying in a laughing tone "Ive fought tougher than you two and I don't run, specially when I dont got a scratch on me." Frankie pauses as if thinking before starting again "So listen, I'm gonna give you one last chance to live, before I paint the floor with your blood... So whats it gonna be?". The Goblin hops to its feet, wounded but still kicking, as Tony brandishes his baton. OOC Frankie don't run.

The Sandmen hesitate, only sharing one quick look between them, before the second Sandman shrugs. Frankie was right, despite their best efforts they hadn't been able to lay a finger on him. "Beh, whatever. We can respect strength, and that's exactly what you've shown. Just don't fuck around with me, don't do nothing to piss me off, and we can get along fine. And don't treat me like a damn slave neither, or else one day you'll never wake from your sleep. In return, yeah, I can help you fight your battles and any enemy you point me to, yadda yadda. We clear, human?" The other Sandman takes this opportunity to retreat into the shadows... |

A sinister grin covered Frankie's face and he gave a chuckle before responding "Crystal.... but do know the same rules apply to you." he followed up with "Let's get moving, times a wasting." OOC So I gain 1 Sandman right. Nice. |
