Just beyond the Argonath stands the hill of Amon Hen, the Seat of Seeing. This was a watchtower of Gondor, long ago, but has since fallen to ruin. The sight atop his grand hill and ruin is beautiful to the West, the East is a horrible sight, aside from nature and the falls of Rauros: The maze of Emyn Muil stands just East, and South of that, the eyesore of Mordor is just beyond the Dead Marshes and Dagorlad. The West enjoys the South Misty Mountains and the sight of Fangorn, just beyond the horizon, as well as Rohan's borders.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Emyn Muil
These rocky crags have come together with age, and thus, the maze of Emyn Muil stands on the Eastern banks of the Anduin, just across the lake Nen Hithoel from Amon Hen. Unless you've been here many times before, it's quite easy to get lost, and the rocks are quite jagged.

The great statues of Isildur and Anárion stand as the borders of the old Gondor, when Kings ruled. They stand, strong and proud, welcoming travelers to the Realms of Men, to Rohan and Gondor. They also mark the nearby Falls of Rauros and the Hill of Amon Hen.
