General Information:

Name: Peregrin Took
Alias: Pippin, Pip, "Ernil i Pheriannath"
Gender: Male
Family and Area: He was born in the Third Age 2990 to Paladin Took II and Eglantine Banks, thus heir to the title of Thain. He had three older sisters, Pearl Took, Pimpernel Took, and Pervinca Took. His true Westron name was Razanur Tûk. Frodo Baggins is his second cousin, once removed on his mother's side and his third cousin twice removed on his father's side. Meriadoc Brandybuck is his first cousin.
Age: 28
In the Service of: None

Weaponry

Weapons: Pippin carries only the one weapon, of which he has nicknamed “Troll’s Bane”. The true name of the sword is not known. It was found along with its companions, of which are owned by Samwise Gamgee, and Meriadoc Brandybuck. It is believed that they were forged by the descendants of Numenor, specifically to combat the forces of Sauron, and the Nazgûls. The sword/s are in fact long daggers, of red and gold colours, and contained in black sheaths.
Armor: Pippin does not currently wear any armor.
Steed: The pony Pippin had used to travel for part of the way of his current journey, was lost in the flight from Bree.

Description

Physical Description: With almost golden hair, and warm brown eyes, Pippin is almost never seen without a smile on his face. The smile is friendly, and one that can bring another, onto almost anyone's face. He is quite handsome, in a young, innocent sort of way.
Pippin's face is easy to read; his emotions are often quite clear to see, simply by his body stance, and facial expressions. Pippin's face clearly shows his innocence, as well.
Pippin is quite small, compared to his three companions, mainly because he is a lot younger, and also because he was a Fallohide hobbit. Fallohides are described as more fleet and light-footed than other strains of hobbit. He is also of a slim build.
Pippin wears typical Hobbit clothes; shirt and a vest, with short pants, and of course, no shoes, with a cloak occasionally, when the weather becomes particularly bad. He favours natural colours, such as greens and browns.
However, the changes in Pippin are becoming more evident, as his journey with his companions continue. He seems to be losing his 'innocence', as such, and he doesn't seem as bright all the time.

Personality: Pippin loves to laugh. He loves to talk, to sing, and to dance - he could easily make friends with almost anyone. His energy is plain to see, as well as his love of food and drink.
However, this brings a downside to things as well. Often, Pippin can be quite naive, and too trusting, at times. At times, he can be carried away with the fun, and forget about others, and secrets that he shouldn't be letting slip.
He often shows his age, especially amongst the other Hobbits. He is almost always extremely cheerful, but can be occasionally thoughtless. Pippin was one of the first to show his discomfort from being away from home, often mentioning the thoughts of rest and food.
But this does not mean Pippin is not brave, or strong. When faced with danger, he will not run away, nor hide behind anyone. Underneath the smiles and laughter, there is an extremely strong, noble, and proud side to him. Pippin believes strongly in his views, and cannot often be swayed. However, Pippin still can be, at times, quite timid, but this is slowly growing out of him, as the journey continues.
History: Pippin was the only son of Paladin Took II and wife Eglantine Banks, and had three older sisters, Pearl Took, Pimpernel Took, and Pervinca Took. His childhood was one full of love, and care, and it wasn't long before Pippin was making a name for himself around the Shire. His mischevious nature, especially combined with the antics of his best friend Meriadoc Brandybuck, often got him into trouble of all sorts - but nothing too serious, other than a few beatings.
When Frodo announced that he was to leave Bag End, supposedly to a smaller abode in Buckland, both Pippin and Merry knew that something wasn't quite right. Combined with the efforts of Samwise Gamgee, they soon found out at least half the story - that Frodo was in fact not planning to stay at Buckland, but that he was going to move on. They quickly organized their own plan - for they were not going to allow their friends to travel alone.
Pippin travelled with Frodo and Sam, from Bag End to Buckland. Along the journey, they experienced two encounters with a Black Rider. On the first, the three Hobbits managed to hide. On the second, the Black Rider was interrupted by the appearance of a party of Elves, led by Gildor. That night, was the first night Pippin was to meet an Elf - and one that has stayed in his memory for a long time.
When the Hobbits finally made it to Crickhollow, they were greeted by Merry and Fatty Bolger. After a warm bath, and plenty of food, Merry and Pippin finally revealed their plans to Frodo - and the fact that they had known all along that he was not going to stay for long. The surprise was evident, at first, but finally they managed to persude Frodo to allow them to join him on his journey.
The group travelled into the Old Forest, led by Merry, where they became captured by the spell of the Withywindle valley. The sudden tiredness Pippin felt, forced him to rest by a tree - and when he awoke, he found himself trapped inside, alongside Merry. Luckily, with the help of Tom Bombadil, they were rescued by the others. The Hobbits stayed with Tom for a while, before moving on with their journey again - but that was not the last they were going to see of him.
Not long after, the Hobbits were lured into a barrow, by a Barrow-Wight. Rescued by Tom Bombadil once more, this was where Pippin acquired his sword.
The four Hobbits finally made it to the Prancing Pony, in Bree. Although warned not to let Frodo's identity slip, Pippin's youth, combined with a fair amount of ale, made his mouth speak freely, barely thinking about what he told the occupants of the inn. He was almost about to let slip about Frodo, and his identity, but he was quickly interrupted - unfortunately, this did not bring a better turn of events. Frodo, in his haste to stop Pippin, jumped onto a table to sing - but he fell, with the Ring slipping accidentally onto his finger, causing an uproar. Quickly, the Hobbits decided to return back to the room, but they were accompanied by someone else. Someone who went by the name of Strider. Although at first, the Hobbits did not trust this stranger, they soon came to learn that he was a friend of Gandalf's - and that he could help them on their journey.
The Inn was attacked at night, but thanks to Strider's helps, the Hobbits were unharmed.
The Hobbits decided to follow Strider, and followed him into the Wild, to Weathertop. But they were attacked by five Nazgul. Despite the brave fights of the Hobbits, Frodo was wounded - a wound that could've proved to have been fatal. Strider appeared once more, to force off the Nazgul... but Frodo was quickly becoming ill. The Elf-lord, Glorfindel, met the party, and seeing the condition of Frodo, took him to Rivendell. Strider, and the three remaining Hobbits followed later, and that is where Pippin stays now.

The night was hot and humid, not even a hint of a breeze drifting through the open windows of the school. Bobby Drake tossed and turned uncomfortably in his bed, his covers long ago being flung off his bed, and down onto the floor. He guessed it was funny, in a strange sort of way. After spending so long trying to wake up, it was now nigh impossible to fall asleep… and Bobby wasn’t sure which one he preferred. With a small sigh, he sat up in his bed, swinging his legs around, and dropping his head into his hands. He was dressed only in plain boxer shorts, trying to keep as cool as possible – however, nothing seemed to be working right now.

Finally, he decided he had to give in. There was no use in trying any longer. Bobby silently got to his feet, stretching his arms out. His gaze wandered around his dark room for a moment, mere outlines of objects being able to be seen. For a moment, his gaze rested on the empty bed that was still present on the other side of his room – no-one had yet to sleep in it since John had left, and that had to have been a good two years. But with a slight shake of his head, these thoughts left his mind, and Bobby stood up. Grabbing a t-shirt that lay hanging over a nearby chair, he pulled it over his head, and made his way to his door.

His bare feet made no noise as he walked across the carpeted floor of the boy’s dorm section of the mansion, but Bobby was still trying to be as quiet as he could. He knew if he got caught, he would get into trouble – it was late in the night, and there were pretty strict rules about bedtimes. However, he knew the teachers knew about his nightly outings down to the kitchen, and they could easily stop him if they tried… although, until they did, he would continue… come to think of it, even if they did try and stop him, Bobby would probably still continue!
He had barely left his room in the day, since he had woken up a week ago… since he had woken up from the coma that his girlfriend had put him in. Bobby couldn’t explain why, if he was asked – he had found himself overcome with work that he had missed… but he hadn’t gone to lessons yet either. With a small start, Bobby suddenly realized that he hadn’t actually talked to anyone, other than Kitty, who had been there when he had woken up. He guessed that his friends assumed that he was avoiding them – and what about Rogue?! What in the world would she be thinking? As Bobby arrived to the top of the stairs, he glanced down the corridor in front of him – the one that led to the girls’ dorms. Perhaps he could go now… perhaps he could meet them now, and explain himself. But instead, his feet led him down the stairs, knowing now was not the right time… but when would the right time come? What was he supposed to say? “Oh, everything’s good. You put me into a coma for a month by kissing me, but I’m totally fine now!” He didn’t think that one was going to work somehow….

Bobby finally found himself down in the main kitchen of the school, and his hand lifted to click on the light switch on the wall. He glanced around the room, checking that no-one else was in there… although; he had never come across anyone before. He moved over to the freezer, dropping to one knee to get down to its level.

The cool air that escaped from the freezer as he opened it caused a smile to twitch at Bobby’s lips. He breathed in deeply, his hand moving up to grasp some ice and crush it in his hand. His gaze scanned the tops of the ice cream pots, searching for his favorite flavor. Vanilla. He could never understand how the other kids in the school could eat all kinds of weird and wonderful flavors – but then again, none of the other kids ate nearly half as much ice cream as he did. Finally, he came across a pot, and moving quickly, pulled it out, shutting the freezer door behind him. Bobby shifted slightly, so that he sat with his back leaning against the door, the cool surface chilly against his back. He lifted his arm, pulling open a drawer by his head, and with a moment’s fumbling, managed to grab hold of a spoon. Eagerly, Bobby ripped the top off the ice cream pot, and dug his spoon into it.

Bobby brought the spoon up level to his eyes, surveying the clean scoop of ice cream. The smile grew ever wider on his face as he brought the food down to his mouth. He savored the taste, leaning his head back to rest against the door of the freezer, his eyes closing. But as the smooth, creamy taste made it’s presence known, a voice drifted in his mind; “Not your stupid ice cream again!”[/SMALL] Bobby’s eyes snapped open, searching for the person who had spoken – but he knew he wouldn’t find anyone. Because it had been John Allerdyce’s voice… and he wasn’t back at the mansion.

It had only been yesterday that Bobby had met with John… the first time they had spoken after Alcatraz. And that meeting had made him remember quite how much he really did miss him. And how much he wished John would just get over his own stupid pride, and come back to the mansion. A frown was etched on Bobby’s normally friendly face, his eyes downcast. He stared furiously down into the slowly melting ice cream, his spoon dangling uselessly in his hand. Why couldn’t anything just be right?! Everything always had to go wrong… everything always had to change! And now it seemed like everything was getting worse… There wasn’t even anyone left to talk to anymore. Rogue’s and his relationship was obviously put on a bit of a hold right now. Kitty didn’t want to be seen with him anymore, for fear of stupid rumors. Piotr just wouldn’t understand, neither would Jubilee… and John was gone.

Silently, Bobby sat alone in the dimly-lit kitchen, as tears slowly started to roll down his cheeks. He was confused, and he didn’t know what to do anymore… he used to have everything in control but now, nothing was right… He let the spoon drop out of his hand, the noise of it hitting the floor ringing out into the quiet school, although he didn't care much anymore... Bobby didn't even notice as a figure appeared at the doorway of the kitchen...
