The signal to HBO Sports cuts and fades to the black before static appears. A face becomes barely visible through the static before a sadistic laugh is heard echoing. The image begins to become more and more visible as the laughing gets louder. The static begins to fade out and a well dressed African-American male is sitting at a desk. He stops laughing and just smirks at the camera.

ALEXANDER MARKS: You don't know me… But believe me you're about to.

He makes a gun sign with his index finger and thumb before pointing it at the camera.

ALEXANDER MARKS: Welcome back to PRIDE PRO WRESTLING!

He pretends to pull the trigger forcing the screen to go black for a few seconds before opening up inside MGM Grand Arena. The arena was in darkness with only a gold light illuminating the entrance ramp and the ring as well as the ringside area. There was an explosive aura in the air, it was very hostile. The cameras focus on the ‘Pride Pro’ logo in the center of the ring before panning around the arena at the crowd whom they could barely make out.

ALVIN CLARK: Ladies and Gentlemen, This not a drill! We are live from the MGM Grand here in Las Vegas Nevada. This is Pride Pro Ignition.

DYLAN COPELAND: We have no idea what is going on, we have no idea why we are here but according to the info we have… There will be a show here tonight.

ALVIN CLARK: After months of living in obscurity Pride Pro is back! That's all I care about.

DYLAN COPELAND: All we know is Chuck Matthews has reportedly agreed to sell Pride Pro to an unknown consortium. That consortium has made all of this happen tonight, but it still remains to be seen if they have any fighters here tonight.

ALVIN CLARK: Normally I'd call you an idiot but we haven't been giving a list of matches or even seen anyone backstage. So, there might not be any matches here tonight.

‘King Shit’ by Yo Gotti begins to play throughout the arena.

DYLAN COPELAND: Looks like we might be about to get some answers.

The well dressed African American walks out onto the stage holding a microphone in his right hand. He pauses on top of the walkway and raises the microphone towards his lips.

ALEXANDER MARKS: My name is Alexander Marks, I am a member of the Consortium that purchased Pride Pro Wrestling from Matthews Enterprises. With the view to return this great company back to its original standing.

Alexander Marks smirks.

ALEXANDER MARKS: We all know what happened to Pride over this past year and we wish not to dwell on the past. It's all about the future and the future is now. I promise to bring forth a new era of this sport, I promise to bring the new game changing ideas into Reality.

Alvin Clark and Dylan Copeland clap their hands for Alexander Marks.

ALEXANDER MARKS: I won't allow this company to become a generic clone of those that came before it like previous owner Jason Halich wished it to become. I won't allow this company to become a pawn in a game of egos like the board of the previous regime. This is Pride Pro Wrestling. This is the future of Professional Wrestling and this is Ignition live from Las Vegas, Nevada the unofficial home of Pride.

Alexander Marks spreads out his arms embracing the affection from the Pride Pro Wrestling loyalists. After a few seconds he pulls the microphone back towards his lips.

ALEXANDER MARKS: And we have the first match of the new era coming up right now.

Alexander Marks begins to backtrack into the entrance tunnel as Michael Buffer climbs into the ring. The legendary Ring Announcer wore his traditional tuxedo as he raised the microphone to his lips.

MICHAEL BUFFER: This opening contest is scheduled for Three, five minute rounds of bell to bell action.

Michael Buffer points up to the entrance tunnel.

MICHAEL BUFFER: Introducing first…Hailing from Miami Florida, Standing in a Five Feet Ten and Weighing In at One Hundred and Sixty Nine Pounds, He is the Two thousand and Twelve, Olympic Gold Medalist and NCAA Division one Champion....DEVLIN PRINCE BECKHAM!!!

The lights in the jarring anticipating arena, switch instantly to black And the beat drops to G Eazy's Been On, followed by the opening Hook

The beat picks up and a black and white strobe light takes over the entire arena. A highlight package of Devlin Beckham begins to play on the screen,in a pulse-sating way. The motion in the crowd resembles that of a "wave" but its hard to make it out with the strobe light ... as the crowd all rise to their feet, directing all eyes to the entry way.

A figure comes shooting up from the bottom of the stage, as "Prince Beckham" stomps his way onto the entrance ramp the lights have him as dark as a shadow figure, causing a huge hurl of a mix reaction from the audience in attendance. The crowd stand in shock, trying desperately to get a view of The Olympic gold medalist.

Devlin Beckham stands there his entire body still blacked out from the light effect, he stands there taking in the reaction of the crowd. An evil grin begins to spread itself from ear to ear, as he steadily begins to make his way down the entrance ramp, the strobe light pulsing with the bass from the song. Strutting himself with oozing confidence, Beckham does a slow spin for the Pride cameras to take in his dark out figure..

He pauses halfway down the aisle, as White trails of pyro blasts themselves into the rafters of the erupting arena. Beckham lightly bounces on his feet still looking like a dark shadow, boasting the cheers from the fans.

Sliding into the ring, Beckham rushes himself to the corner of the ring, mounting the turnbuckle as he does so, Camera flashes light up the dark arena, as it is now hard to separate the screams of his fans.Beckham leaps from the turnbuckle, and now begins to circle the ring, ready for a war... looking to all parts of the rattling arena. A laugh of pleasantry escapes him, as he hits the ropes, loosening himself up. Beckham now moves himself to the edge of the ring, where he begins to eye down his prey. Slithering through the ring like a snake, he stands in the center of the ring, as a single spotlight beams down onto his frame, spotlighting and for the first time showing his full figure.

The lights in the arena slowly kick back on, as the smoke from Beckham's pyro clouds up the arena entrance, and ring.Beckham backs himself to the nearest corner of the ring, and leaning back, props his arms onto the ropes, and places a look of arrogance on his face with a sly smile towards his foe.The fans chant hard for him, but Beckham pays no mind.

MICHAEL BUFFER: And introducing the challenger, Hailing from San Diego California. Standing in at 5 foot 9 inches and weighing in at 210 pounds. He is the Maniac Gavin Vincent.

Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold plays throughout the arena and a spotlight hit’s the crowd to show Gavin Vincent emerging from out of nowhere. Fans screams and move out of his way as he walks down the steps on his way to the ring. Gavin Vincent jumps the guardrail and looks over to the announcers table then slides into the ring. Devlin Beckham gets in his face before the referee gets between them and forces them to their corners. The referee calls for the bell.

DEVLIN BECKHAM [Versus] GAVIN VINCENT
[Ding Ding Ding]

Devlin Beckham slowly approaches Gavin Vincent in the center of the ring. They look at each other for a few moments. Devlin Beckham extends his hand for Gavin Vincent, who shakes it. The two men move back to their respective corners.

ALVIN CLARK: That's a good gesture of respect for each other. Both men are going out to give it their all.

Devlin Beckham runs at Gavin Vincent and launches himself at Gavin Vincent, who catches him. Gavin Vincent holds onto Devlin Beckham, and delivers a spinebuster to him. Devlin Beckham rolls around, holding his back.

DYLAN COPELAND: Devlin tries a cross body. No dice.

ALVIN CLARK: You can't just go out and try to create some insta-offense against Gavin Vincent. It's not going to work.

DYLAN COPELAND: Yeah, because you'd know something about beating Gavin Vincent, wouldn't you Alvin.

Gavin Vincent picks up Devlin Beckham, and lifts him up onto his shoulders. Gavin Vincent walks around with him on his shoulders, before bringing Devlin Beckham flying down with a power bomb onto the mat.

ALVIN CLARK: Huge power bomb by Gavin Vincent.

DYLAN COPELAND: I'll be very surprised if this match continues for much longer.

Gavin Vincent pins Devlin Beckham.

-1-

Devlin Beckham lifts his shoulder up. Gavin Vincent immediately stands up, holding his fist in the air, motioning for Devlin Beckham to stand up.

ALVIN CLARK: Devlin kicks out of that one.

DYLAN COPELAND: But is that going to last much longer? I imagine it's hard to kick out when you have a 300 pound man lying on you.

Devlin Beckham stands up, staggering towards Gavin Vincent, who punches him as hard as he can in the face.

DYLAN COPELAND: BRAIN DEAD!!!

ALVIN CLARK: That's it. It's all over. No one beats Brain dead.

Devlin Beckham drops to the mat, and doesn't move. Gavin Vincent drops down and covers him.

-1-2-

Devlin Beckham kicks out.

DYLAN COPELAND: It's pure heart. He knows what's on the line, and he isn't giving up so easily.

ALVIN CLARK: Heart my ass. Gavin Vincent is obviously letting him kick out, so that he can punish him more.

Gavin Vincent slams both fists into the mat, and stands up, waiting for Devlin to get up. He holds up his hand again. Devlin Beckham gets up, and stumbles at Gavin Vincent, who locks his hand around Devlin's throat. Gavin Vincent picks him up, and as he slams him down, Devlin Beckham grabs his head, and brings Gavin Vincent down with him in a DDT.

DYLAN COPELAND: Chokeslam by Gavin Vincent!

ALVIN CLARK: No! Devlin got a hold of his head, and hit him with a DDT!

Devlin Beckham hops up, and runs to the corner. Gavin Vincent gets up on one knee, and Devlin Beckham runs at him, and connects with a shining wizard. The force of the kick knocks Gavin Vincent to the ground.

DYLAN COPELAND: What a shining wizard. Devlin's using his speed to counter the size and brute strength of Gavin Vincent.

ALVIN CLARK: And that's exactly what you have to do to beat him.

DYLAN COPELAND: Quit acting like you know how to beat this giant. Last time I checked, you were still on his bad list.

Devlin Beckham runs at the ropes, and jumps onto the third rope. He springs off of it, and flips through the air, connecting with a moonsault on Gavin Vincent. Devlin Beckham rolls off of Gavin Vincent and runs towards the ropes, as Gavin Vincent tries to stand. Devlin Beckham tries another crossbody, but Gavin Vincent catches him, and picks him up for a power bomb. Devlin Beckham locks his legs around the neck of Gavin Vincent, and twists his body around, executing a hurricanrana.

DYLAN COPELAND: Big hurricanrana by Devlin there, can he take advantage?

Devlin Beckham goes for the cover on Gavin Vincent

-1-2-

Gavin Vincent powers out.

[03:58]

Devlin Beckham stands up and runs at the ropes. He bounces at the ropes and runs towards Gavin Vincent, who tries to clothesline him. Devlin Beckham baseball slides between Gavin Vincents legs, and hops up as Gavin Vincent turns around. Devlin Beckham throws a right leg lick, then a left, then a right, before finishing with a big standing dropkick, sending Gavin Vincent reeling backwards.

DYLAN COPELAND: Devlin again uses his speed to maneuver around the slower Gavin Vincent.

Devlin Beckham runs at Gavin Vincent, and jumps at him, connecting with a forearm that sends both men out onto the platform. Devlin Beckham gets up quickly, and waits for Gavin Vincent to get up. Devlin Beckham charges at Gavin Vincent, throwing punches and kicks as fast as he can. Gavin Vincent just stares down at him. Gavin Vincent throws a forearm at Devlin Beckham, but he ducks under it. Devlin Beckham turns around and drop kicks Gavin Vincent in the back, sending him crashing over the ropes and back into the ring.

DYLAN COPELAND: Gavin Vincent No Sell!

ALVIN CLARK: Yeah, for like, a second.

Devlin Beckham grabs a hold of the top rope, and vaults himself onto it. He hops once on the top rope, and then takes off, rotating backwards through the air. Devlin Beckham lands the shooting star press, and rolls off of Gavin Vincent.

DYLAN COPELAND: What a shooting star press!

Devlin Beckham rolls back over and hooks one of Gavin Vincents legs.

-1-2-3-

Gavin Vincent kicks out right before the referee's hand can come down a third time. Devlin Beckham hops up and runs over to one of the corners. He jumps on it, and uses momentum to jump off of it, and flips backwards, connecting with a double moonsault on Gavin Vincent. Devlin Beckham and Gavin Vincent lay in the center of the ring, neither moving very much. Devlin Beckham slowly starts to crawl towards Gavin Vincent. He puts an arm on top of Gavin Vincent.

[00:00]

[Ding Ding Ding]

ALVIN CLARK: Yes! Another round of Gavin Vincent's destruction!

DYLAN COPELAND: Alvin is happy that someone can do what he'll never be able to do himself.

Devlin Beckham slams both fists into the mat as he makes his way back to his corner. Gavin Vincent slowly gets up and walks gingerly back to his corner.

ALVIN CLARK: I told you, I got dirt in my eyes when I fought Gavin Vincent. I couldn't see anything when he hit me with Brain Dead.

The referee calls for the bell.

ROUND 2

[10:00]

Gavin Vincent roars and charges at Devlin Beckham. He ducks underneath Gavin Vincent, who rebounds off the ropes and comes back. Devlin Beckham jumps up, and vaults over the head of Gavin Vincent, landing on his feet, and kicked the back of Gavin Vincent's knee.

ALVIN CLARK: Another move that Devlin sees coming. It's like he knows exactly what Gavin Vincent is going to do before he does it

Gavin Vincent collapses to the ground. Devlin Beckham grabs his legs, and locks in a boston crab. Devlin Beckham cranks on the hold, arching Gavin Vincent's back. Gavin Vincent reaches for the ropes, and grabs them. The referee starts to count

"1" "2" "3"

DYLAN COPELAND: Devlin needs to make sure he doesn't accidentally get disqualified.

Devlin Beckham breaks the hold. He runs towards the ropes, bounces off them, and jumps at Gavin Vincent, who pushes Devlin Beckham over his head. Devlin Beckham flies over the ropes, and lands hard on the platform outside the ring.

ALVIN CLARK: Gavin Vincent with some much needed offense. Did you see how high Devlin was before hitting that hard solid platform?

Gavin Vincent struggles to stand up. He finally does, and climbs outside the ring, where a motionless Devlin Beckham lays. Gavin Vincent picks him up, and puts on his shoulders in a fireman's carry. Gavin Vincent walks back and steps over the top rope.

ALVIN CLARK: Have you ever seen something as massive as Gavin Vincent?

DYLAN COPELAND: Yeah, the Statue of Liberty is very similar to him.

Gavin Vincent walks to the center of the ring, and tries to lift Devlin Beckham over his head, but he is holding onto Gavin Vincent's head. Gavin Vincent lets go of him to try and free his own head. Devlin Beckham swings around while still holding Gavin Vincents head, and drives it hard into the ground with a DDT. Devlin goes for the pin.

-1-2-

Gavin Vincent throws Devlin Beckham off of him.

DYLAN COPELAND: That DDT was insane. Devlin is leaving it all out here in this match, he's clearly caught GV off-guard.

ALVIN CLARK: Or maybe he just listened to what I told him to do.

[06:38]

Devlin Beckham stands up and runs over to the corner. He tries to hop up on the top rope. Gavin Vincent stands up, and runs over to Devlin Beckham. He picks up Devlin Beckham, and throws him halfway across the ring.

ALVIN CLARK: Wow, look at that move. The skill, the technicality, the precision. That's vintage Gavin Vincent.

DYLAN COPELAND: It worked against you.

Gavin Vincent waits for Devlin Beckham to stand. He does slowly, and Gavin Vincent charges, going for a spear. Devlin Beckham drops to the ground, and trips a charging Gavin Vincent headfirst into the second rope. Devlin Beckham runs and jumps through the second rope, grabbing a hold of them, and smashing the face of Gavin Vincent with a tiger feint kick.

ALVIN CLARK: Go Devlin! Kick his ass!

DYLAN COPELAND: Earlier you were talking about how there was no way Devlin could beat Gavin Vincent!

ALVIN CLARK: Yeah, but now he is.

Gavin Vincent staggers and collapses onto his back in the center of the ring. Devlin Beckham is on the platform on the outside. He runs and vaults himself onto the top rope, and jumps off, flipping and twisting his way to a 360 shooting star frog splash, connecting right on the motionless body of Gavin Vincent.

[Ding Ding Ding]

MICHAEL BUFFER: Here is your winner, PRINCE DEVLIN BECKHAM!!!!

Devlin Beckham slowly rises to his feet As the cameras fade out on the image of Devlin Beckham with his hand raised high in victory, we soon see Alexander Marks just about to enter his office but he is soon interrupted by backstage reporter Roxie McCright.

ROXIE McCRIGHT: Mr. Marks, May I ask you a few questions.

Alexander Marks groans slightly.

ALEXANDER MARKS: Can you make it quick?

Roxie nods her head.

ROXIE McCRIGHT: When you bought Pride Pro there was no talent contracts attached to the purchase. So, how many fighters will be showing up tonight and are you still actively seeking free agents?

Alexander Marks smirks.

ALEXANDER MARKS: All of my searching is over with! I spent a month collecting enough free agents to field three brands! Though, I am still open to discussing with any other talent that wants to make its way to pride.

Roxie looks at him with confusion in her eyes.

ROXIE McCRIGHT: Three brands?

Alexander Marks nods.

ALEXANDER MARKS: Yes, Ignition, Fury and our developmental brand Infinity.

Alexander Takes the microphone from Roxie.

ALEXANDER MARKS: Ignition will be live on Monday Nights, Infinity live on Wednesday nights and of course Fury live on Fridays. I will be announcing General Managers for all three shows later tonight.

He turns to look at Roxie.

ALEXANDER MARKS: Now, I am rather busy so this interview is over.

He passes the microphone back to her before disappearing into his office leaving her standing there still looking confused. The camera fades back into the arena.

DYLAN COPELAND: They're bringing that piece of shit Fury into the new era?

ALVIN CLARK: It can only be good for business Dylan.

DYLAN COPELAND: FUCK FURY! FUCK IT! FUCK IT! FUCK IT!

ALVIN CLARK: …. I wonder who these free agents will be. We already have Devlin Beckham and Gavin Vincent. Who else could be joining us tonight.

DYLAN COPELAND: I don't give a fuck this has ruined my night.

The cameras fade in backstage and we see Roxie McCright standing at the interview section. The young interviewer smiles brightly as she is given the que that they are now live.

ROXIE McCRIGHT: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time… Adrianna Perez.

The artist formerly known as Adree Perez stepped into the view of the camera with a cold look in her eyes. A far cry from the once bubbly competitor of yesteryears.

ROXIE McCRIGHT: Adrianna, welcome back to Pride. It’s great to see you back home.

Adrianna slowly shakes her head.

ADRIANNA PEREZ: Lets cut the bullshit Roxie. You aren’t glad to see me back…

She points out to the crowd.

ADRIANNA PEREZ: The crowd aren’t even happy to see me back.

She follows up with a shrug.

ADRIANNA PEREZ: Fuck it though. I’m back now and I’m here to make a statement.

Adrianna rips the microphone out of Roxie’s hands.

ADRIANNA PEREZ: You can go now.

Adrianna shoves Roxie slightly then motions with her hand for her to disappear.

ADRIANNA PEREZ: BITCH BE GONE!

Roxie looks on in shock for a moment before Adrianna chuckles and hits a spinning heel kick that knocks Roxie down onto the concrete floor. Adrianna looks at her for a moment, before looking back at the camera.

ADRIANNA PEREZ: This is what I’m talking about. I’m continuously disrespected by everyone...Well..

Adrianna smirks.

ADRIANNA PEREZ: That ends now. I’m about to take a page out of Cody Taylor’s book real quick and put all you mother fuckers on notice… Starting right now.

Adrianna cracks her neck from side to side.

ADRIANNA PEREZ: I’m walking out to that ring and I dare anybody to walk out for a fight.
Adrianna drops the microphone and begins to make her way over towards the entrance tunnel. The camera fades out into the arena.

ALVIN CLARK: Adree Perez is on her way out right now and is looking for a fight!

DYLAN COPELAND: Adrianna, correct yourself Clark.

‘Blood’ by Dej Loaf begins to play throughout the in house system. Moments later Adrianna Perez comes out from the entrance tunnel, she stands on top of the entrance ramp and looks around at the crowd with a pissed off look in her eyes.

ALVIN CLARK: Adrianna isn’t here to play about.

DYLAN COPELAND: She knows she's got a long way to go to rebuild that rep of hers.

Adrianna Perez begins to walk down the ramp with a confident swagger. She plays little to no attention to the crowd as a few young fans reach out to her. She stops on the middle of the ramp and flips everybody off. She begins to vibe out to the music, bopping her head to the beat.

ALVIN CLARK: That wasn’t very nice.

DYLAN COPELAND: Fuck these fans.

Adrianna Perez rolls under the bottom ropes and flips up to her feet in the ring. She looks around for a moment before walking over to her corner and waits to see if anyone comes out.

ALVIN CLARK: Will anybody come out?

DYLAN COPELAND: I Don’t think Adrianna is leaving until someone does.

The opening beat to ‘Break the rules’ begins to play over the in house system. A few seconds pass before Chloe Gray comes racing out from the entrance tunnel. The young female wrestler is full of energy as she sprints from side to side on the stage, getting the crowd behind her.

ALVIN CLARK: Chloe Gray, the 21 year old from Calgary Alberta Canada has answered the challenge.

DYLAN COPELAND: I don’t know if she is brave or just dumb.

ALVIN CLARK: She is one of the hottest free agents on the independent scene.

DYLAN COPELAND: This is not the indys.

Chloe Gray sprints down the ramp slapping fives with the fans as she makes her way to ringside. Adrianna Perez stares at her with a confident smirk on her face. Chloe Gray climbs into the ring and Adrianna Perez begins to make her way towards her but the referee pushes her back.
