“I'm searching for something that I can't reach.”

This progress wrestling logo flashes across the screen with ‘Ghost’ by Halsey playing in the background before slowly fading in on a video of Rylee Cantrell and Olivia Price coming face to face at the press conference. The two women have a look detest for each other. Rylee Cantrell pushes her forehead against Olivia Price’s.

“I don't like them innocent, I don't want no face fresh, Want them wearing leather, Begging, let me be your taste test,I like the sad eyes, bad guys, Mouth full of white lies, Kiss me in the corridor,But quick to tell me goodbye.”

The footage soon shifts to that of Kane Crosby and Zaiden Tyler coming face to face. Zaiden Tyler is seen attempting to rile Kane Crosby up by bringing up the ghosts of his past. Kane Crosby attempts to react to his rival but the Progress security pull them apart. Kane Crosby runs his thumb across his neck, signalling he’s coming in for the kill.

“You say that you're no good for me, 'Cause I'm always tugging at your sleeve And I swear I hate you when you leave,I like it anyway.”

Footage of Alex Nasir and Drake Young now appears. Both men walk towards each other and shakes hands before taking a fight stance for a photo op. The crowd clap for them before they shake hands again. Alex Nasir bows as a sign of respect.

“My ghost, Where'd you go? I can't find you in the body sleeping next to me. My ghost, Where'd you go? What happened to the soul you used to be?”

Ava Perez and Lexie Cole step into the footage. Progress Wrestling president Alexander Marks is seen standing behind them holding the PWF Women’s championship up high, showing what both women will be fighting for. Ava Perez had her face covered with a mask from her Mexican heritage. Ava Perez and Lexie Cole come face to face, with Lexie Cole telling Ava Perez that she doesn’t fear her. Ava Perez lifts her mask up and laughs at Lexie Cole.

“You're a Rolling Stone boy. Never sleep alone boy. Got a million numbers And they're filling up your phone, boy. I'm off the deep end, sleeping. All night through the weekend, Saying that I love him but I know I'm gonna leave him. You say that you're no good for mem'Cause I'm always tugging at your sleeve And I swear I hate you when you leave. I like it anyway.”

The footage finally cuts to the main event, as Aiden Harris and Leon Killen come to face. The camera pans around, showing the very Irish dominated crowd cheering for Leon Killen. Progress President Alexander Marks steps between both men holding the PWF World Championship high above his head. Leon Killen points to the title then points to himself, letting Aiden Harris know the belts coming home with him. Aiden Harris shakes his head but Leon Killen snatches the belt from Alexander Marks hands and holds it high above his head, screaming in Aiden Harris’s face. The intro video slowly begins to fade out focusing on the crowd going wild for Leon Killen.

The cameras fade into the staples center and pan around the arena. We see numerous celebrities from the entertainment world and the sports world in attendance for what is sure to be an action packed night of exciting fights. The camera focuses on the ring for a moment so the world can see the Progress Wrestling logo in the center of the ring and the numerous sponsor on the canvas with Nike and Bud Light having the majority of the attention. The cameras take one final sweep of the crowd before turning their attention to the commentary booth, where we see Jim Lampley, Max Kellerman and Paulie Malignaggi standing dressed in their smartest suits at the commentary both. Each man is holding a ‘This is Progress’ branded Microphone.

JIM LAMPLEY: Hi, I’m Jim Lampley and This is PROGRESS Fight Pass One. Live and exclusive to the PROGRESS Network. I’m joined here tonight by Max Kellerman and Former IBF Light welterweight and WBA welterweight boxing champion… Paulie ‘Magic Man’ Malignaggi.

Max Kellerman nods at the camera and Paulie Malignaggi gives a two fingered wave to the camera.

JIM LAMPLEY: We have a solid fight card here tonight in Los Angeles with both the WBF World and Women’s championships on the line but there is so much to invest in on the other three fights.

Paulie Malignaggi nods.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Absolutely Jim. Probably one of the biggest stories on this card is the return of Kane Crosby. The guy has been through a shitstorm in his life and his road to redemption for himself begins to night against Zaiden Tyler.

MAX KELLERMAN: This is a big night for Kane Crosby, no doubt about it. Though his opponent is no slouch, so this is going to be a tough ask for the guy after being away for so long. So fingers crossed that ring rust hasn’t settled in and we see an explosive fight.

Jim Lampley nods.

JIM LAMPLEY: There’s a nice mix of fighters making their professional debuts like a Rylee Cantrell, who is considered one of the biggest female prospects in years, as well as returning fights like a Kane Crosby and an Alex Nasir, Whose return is being heavily overshadowed by that of Kane Crosby.

Paulie Malignaggi shrugs his shoulders.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Without taking away from Alex Nasir, he’s an incredible talent but America loves a good comeback story and Kane Crosby’s return is like a hollywood movie, he’s just got to write the final chapters.

MAX KELLERMAN: I agree with that statement Paulie but I believe Alex Nasir’s return deserves more attention as the guy is one of the most innovative fighters in this sports history.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Ain’t nobody saying he isn’t. Yeah, it’s unfair that a talented fighter gets overlooked but we’re in the fight selling business and Kane Crosby sells fights.

JIM LAMPLEY: Someone else that knows how to sell a fight is Leon Killen.

Max Kellerman nods his head.

MAX KELLERMAN: I don’t appreciate his methods of selling fights but it’s effective for him.

Paulie Malignaggi shakes his head.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: It doesn’t matter how you sell the fight, As long as you sell it. Us fighters only get a short time at the top, we’ve got to pull in as much money as we possibly can and if Leon Killen wants to go off in the Press Conferences, Do wild ass stuff then good luck to the kid.

MAX KELLERMAN: I just think he lacks a little class.

Paulie Malignaggi laughs.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: We’re in the fight business, If you want a little class go watch disney on ice or some shit.

Jim Lampley has a chuckle to himself.

JIM LAMPLEY: Before Paulie exposes anymore of Max’s hidden hobbies, We’ll get under way with the first fight of the night. It’s Rylee Cantrell, one of this if not the most exciting prospect since Saffron Dior and she's taking on Olivia Price.

MAX KELLERMAN: This has the chance to be a huge jump pad for one of th
se two women. The winner tonight is surely going on to bigger and better things.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: And the loser is going to have to bounce back in her next fight in HUGE fashion to play catch up.

Max Kellerman and Jim Lampley nod.

JIM LAMPLEY: Here is how this fight came about.

A Video slowly appears on the screen and we see Progress President Alexander Marks standing at the podium with Rylee Cantrell sitting at one side of him and Olivia Price sitting at the other side of him.

ALEXANDER MARKS: Bringing Rylee Cantrell into the picture was a huge thing for us. We seen her at Amature level and she was somebody that had us wondering how far she could go in the business.

Olivia Price snarls as she hears Alexander Marks talking about her opponent.

ALEXANDER MARKS: She is possibly the most exciting prospect I’ve seen since Saffron Dior. I believe she can go all the way.

The camera moves over to Rylee Cantrell who is seen with a big smile on her face.

RYLEE CANTRELL: I can’t thank Mr.Marks enough for those kind words. I’m so blessed to be here and I can’t wait to get started, I have an amazing opponent in Olivia Price. It’s going to be a tough fight but I know my team will have me ready for victory.

Olivia Price snatches at her microphone.

OLIVIA PRICE: Ready for Victory?

The two women look at each other from across the tables.

OLIVIA PRICE: Darling, this is my division now. I am not some fucking wannabe’s stepping stone to bigger things. You are my stepping stone you little tramp.

Rylee Cantrell is taken aback by her comments.

OLIVIA PRICE: October 31st I’m knocking you clean out. Starting your career off with a big ass L.

The footage from the press conference fades out and new footage of Olivia Price training at Lionheart gym in New Orleans is seen playing. Olivia Price is in the ring sparring with one of her teammates whom is attempting to emulate Rylee Cantrell’s style of fighting. Olivia Price’s coach watches on as Olivia Price wrestles her sparring partner to the canvas. Olivia Price starts with the ground and pound before her coach yells ‘Time’. Olivia Price gets to her feet and spits her mouth guard out. She begins to circle the ring.

OLIVIA PRICE: Who’s going to bring the blood and pain??

Her coaches all yell ‘Olivia’. She rests in her corner for a moment as the audience begin to hear Alexander Marks talking as the narrator.

ALEXANDER MARKS: Olivia has a chip on her shoulder. She thinks she was put in this fight just to give Rylee a win, which has made Olivia more determined to ruin Rylee’s debut, which gives us an even more exciting fight.

The footage once again changes this time to Rylee Cantrell’s training facilities in her hometown of New Jersey. We see the debutant working the speedbag, her speed continues to grow with each hit she lands. Her coaches spur her on. She has a determined look in her eyes as she was preparing herself for war.

ALEXANDER MARKS: Rylee Cantrell isn’t fazed in the slightest by Olivia’s outburst, if anything it’s just made Rylee want to knock her out even more. It’s going to be an explosive night.

The video slowly fades out with an Image of both women facing off.

As the cameras fade back into the arena we see Michael Buffer standing in the center of the ring.

MICHAEL BUFFER: This is the opening contest of this action packed card, Introducing first from New Orleans, Louisiana. She is Olivia Price.

Olivia Price’s entrance music begins to play and she comes out from the entrance tunnel accompanied by her team. The crowd cheer for her as she begins to make her way down the ramp with a confident look on her face.

JIM LAMPLEY: Olivia Price is looking very confident.

MAX KELLERMAN: Well she has been training hard for this fight.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: But will it be enough.

Olivia Price climbs into the ring with her team, she bounces around the ring, shadowing boxing.

MICHAEL BUFFER: And introducing her opponent, Making her professional debut in the sport. She is hailing from New Jersey, She is Rylee Cantrell.

Rylee Cantrell makes her way out of the entrance tunnel with her team. The young fighter has an emotionless look on her face as the crowd cheer for her. She cranks her neck from side to side before beginning to make her way down the ramp.

JIM LAMPLEY: Now, there's a woman that’s on a mission.

MAX KELLERMAN: She’s going out to put herself on the map.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: She’s coming in with a lot of hype, so she has a lot to prove tonight.

Rylee Cantrell climbs into the ring and her team stay on the outside. Olivia Price’s team leave the ring and both women come to the center of the ring. The referee goes over the rules with both women before sending them back to their corners.

[DING DING DING]

Once the referee calls for the bell to start the match, Rylee Cantrell and Olivia Price come out from their respective corners. Rylee Cantrell extends her fist as a sign of respect but Olivia Price slaps it away. Olivia Price shoots in for a takedown and successfully wrestlers Rylee Cantrell to the canvas.

JIM LAMPLEY: Olivia Price taking this fight to canvas quickly.

MAX KELLERMAN: This is where Olivia Price is at her most dangerous, when she can dictate the fight.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Rylee Cantrell’s ground game isn’t her greatest weapon.

Olivia Price brings an elbow across Rylee Cantrell’s jaw. Rylee Cantrell attempts to roll but is met with a quick jab from Olivia Price. Olivia Price transitions until she can wrap her arm around Rylee Cantrell’s neck. Olivia Price locks in a choke hold. Rylee Cantrell reaches for the ropes but there is just too much distance for her.

JIM LAMPLEY: Olivia Price has the choke hold locked in and Rylee has nowhere to go.

MAX KELLERMAN: This is an ambition move from Olivia Price, She’s trying to take her out in the early moments of this round.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Rylee Cantrell is a rookie. Olivia Price is hoping her inexperience will make her panic and tap out quickly.

Rylee Cantrell squirms till she gets a finger on the rope. Olivia Price hits a vicious straight to the side of Rylee Cantrell’s skull forcing her to let go of the rope. Olivia Price rolls till she's on her back. Whilst Olivia Price still has the choke hold locked in, Rylee Cantrell flips backwards hooking the legs of Olivia Price. The referee drops down and checks that Olivia Price’s shoulders are against the mat.

JIM LAMPLEY: Rylee Cantrell reversing into a pinfall but Olivia Price wasn’t going down that easily.

MAX KELLERMAN: That was a veteran move from the rookie Rylee Cantrell. To do a reversal like that, WOW!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: That’s some high ring IQ from Rylee Cantrell.

Olivia Price gets back to her feet and charges at Rylee Cantrell. Rylee Cantrell uses a push kick to the chest of Olivia Price to knock her away. Rylee Cantrell follows up with a superman punch but there wasn’t enough power behind it and it done minimal damage to Olivia Price. Rylee Cantrell launches a quick leg kick but Olivia Price checks it and fires back with one of her own. Rylee Cantrell winces slightly.

JIM LAMPLEY: Strong kick to the side of the lower leg from Olivia Price.

MAX KELLERMAN: That one seemed to have hurt Rylee Cantrell.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Rylee needs to start moving about, try walk it off and deliver some shots of her own.

Rylee Cantrell lands a left right two punch combination snapping the head of Olivia Price back following up with a roundhouse kick that just barely misses. Olivia Price runs at Rylee Cantrell and is shoved off to the ropes. She rebounds off with a Springboard Cross Body Block down onto the knee of Rylee Cantrell as she drops down to counter. She attempts a rear naked choke on Olivia Price but she’s able to place her feet on the ropes and walk up them rolling over to her hands and knees with Rylee Cantrell on her back.

JIM LAMPLEY: Smart reversal by Olivia Price.

MAX KELLERMAN: She is a very talented fighter indeed.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: All the talent in the world won’t take you far without a killer instinct but I’m not seeing that in Olivia Price.

Olivia Price gets up to her feet and Rylee Cantrell locks in a sleeperhold leaning back to stagger them both into the corner. Olivia Price grabs the top rope and Rylee Cantrell is ordered to break the sleeperhold by the referee. She continues to apply pressure leaning back as she sits on the top turnbuckle. The referee begins to count as he tries to pull her from around the throat of Olivia Price.

“1! 2! 3! 4!..”

Rylee Cantrell holds her arms up as she releases the sleeperhold preventing the referee from calling a disqualification. Olivia Price falls forward but is held in the body triangle with the legs of Rylee Cantrell wrapped tightly around her. Olivia Price drives a back elbow into her face.

JIM LAMPLEY: Olivia Price with the big back elbow.

MAX KELLERMAN: She’s trying to fight her way out of this.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Rylee Cantrell is all over her. Olivia Price needs to do something big.

Olivia Price lands another back elbow into the face of Rylee Cantrell, but she takes a left then a right forearm shot to the sides of her head. “THIS IS AWESOME!” “THIS IS AWESOME!” “THIS IS AWESOME!”

JIM LAMPLEY: These ladies have raised an already highly lifted bar!

MAX KELLERMAN: They are putting on a stellar match!

Ava Perez pulls back with the anaconda crossface trying to force the tap out but Lexie Cole refuses to do so. Lexie Cole begins to get up, Ava Perez refusing to break the hold as she’s lifted.

JIM LAMPLEY: Still fighting! You have to love the spirit these women are showing!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: You have to love everything about all of this!

Lexie Cole stands up, jolting to her feet, launching Ava Perez moonsaulting back out of the hold, down into the mat. Both ladies hit the canvas.

JIM LAMPLEY: WOW!

MAX KELLERMAN: That’s one way to escape that submission, as unorthodox as it was.

Both women lay looking up at the arena lights, they slowly begin to crawl on the mat as the fans in the Sin City arena stand up and begin to clap and cheer. Fans whistle as they applaud the valiant effort of both women in the match.

JIM LAMPLEY: Even we are standing, this has been a real treat!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Win or lose, these two have helped bring womens wrestling back on the map!

Lexie Cole is first to stand up, soon followed by Ava Perez. Lexie Cole grabs the hair of Ava Perez, then hooks her arm and armdrag throws her across the ring. Ava Perez lands on her feet and runs to the corner then jumps spinning around with a cross body as she makes it to the top turnbuckle. Lexie Cole drops down to a knee and lets Ava Perez fall down on it gut first.

JIM LAMPLEY: Oh! What a back and forth, counter after counter match!

MAX KELLERMAN: These girls are fighting for so much, I just realized they may win the fight of the night bonus for this performance!

Lexie Cole rolls Ava Perez up for a pin.

-1-2-3

Ava Perez kicks out, breaking out of the pin as she holds her stomach.

JIM LAMPLEY: Close one, catching Ava Perez off guard.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: It was a big counter that almost ended this match.

Lexie Cole lifts Ava Perez up from behind then drops down with a school boy cover.

-1-2

Ava Perez kicks out and they both stand quickly.

JIM LAMPLEY: The speed of the match is picking up again.

MAX KELLERMAN: It sure is.

Ava Perez throws a spin kick but Lexie Cole ducks underneath it and rolls Ava Perez up with a school boy again, this time grabbing at the pants for leverage.

-1-2-3

Ava Perez kicks out hooking the arm of Lexie Cole as she does, setting up the anaconda crossface again.

JIM LAMPLEY: She’s going for it again, this time I don’t believe Lexie Cole will escape!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: She doesn’t have the head yet!

Lexie Cole rolls through, escaping before the hold could be locked in. They both stand up and Lexie Cole jumps with a dropkick that sends Ava Perez back into the corner. Lexie Cole runs at Ava Perez and dives in with a shoulder, but Ava Perez lifts her feet up to lay across the top ropes and turnbuckles. Lexie Cole dives through the turnbuckles and tackles the ring pipe shoulder first killing her momentum.

JIM LAMPLEY: Ava Perez Restling like a hammock!

MAX KELLERMAN: That arm of Lexie Cole is hanging limp, she may have dislocated her shoulder!

Ava Perez backflips off the ropes and turnbuckle to the ring apron. She grabs the dangling arm of Lexie Cole and holds it in her hands.

JIM LAMPLEY: This is a crucial moment in everyones career! That moment where you have to kill a wounded animal!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Holy shit this is so intense, does Ava Perez have a killer instinct or will she fold unable to hurt an already hurt person even further!?

Ava Perez looks around at the crowd as an evil smirk graces her face. She runs and smashes the arm of Lexie Cole into the ring post, releasing it so that she can swing around the post and deliver a double kick to her face, sending her shooting out of the corner.

JIM LAMPLEY: SHE’S GOT IT!

MAX KELLERMAN: And a lot of it!

Ava Perez lands on the apron and climbs up to the top turnbuckle.

JIM LAMPLEY: She’s like a piranha who tastes blood in the water!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: The fans here respect her for going for it!

Ava Perez walks the top rope like a tightrope then jumps at the center and comes down into the ring with a Springboard Seated Senton down onto the arm of Lexie Cole.

JIM LAMPLEY: Vicious!

MAX KELLERMAN: We’ve just found the next Womens Champion!

Ava Perez pins Lexie Cole.

-1-2-3-

JIM LAMPLEY: It’s all over! Ava Perez...

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Ava Perez didn’t win this match yet!

The referee points to the foot of Lexie Cole on the bottom rope.

JIM LAMPLEY: I didn’t even notice that, good catch by the referee!

MAX KELLERMAN: What resilience on display from Lexie Cole!

Ava Perez looks at the referee then at the foot on the bottom rope. She sits on the mat and runs her hands through her hair.

JIM LAMPLEY: Don’t lose your cool and make a mistake, you’ve still got her in this bad position where her only hope is putting her foot on a rope!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: That’s a very good and true point, we’ve seen wrestlers get angry when they’re winning or frustrated, instead of just continuing what got you there!

Ava Perez stands up and claps her hands as she walks over to Lexie Cole and is pulled down into a small package.

-1-2-3

Ava Perez kicks rolling so that she has the pin on Lexie Cole in the small package.

-1-2-3

JIM LAMPLEY: lady ball of pinfall!

MAX KELLERMAN: This is close as they roll around the ring!

They both kick out and get up. Lexie Cole stands while Ava Perez handstands and catches her head with her feet. Ava Perez sends Lexie Cole down to the mat with a Handstand Headscissors Takedown.

JIM LAMPLEY: Twisty from Ava Perez, twisting the world of Lexie Cole!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: She’s up though and going for the ropes.

Lexie Cole keeps with the momentum of the move and rolls to her feet, then runs to the ropes rebounding at Ava Perez.

JIM LAMPLEY: Her arm is still dangling, if she wants to fight back in this match, she’ll first have to relocate that shoulder into its right spot!

MAX KELLERMAN: Shouldn’t the ref do that or at least stop the match so it can be taken care of?

Ava Perez turns around and hits the ropes herself, jumping into them, springboarding at Lexie Cole with a thesz press, taking her down in the center of the ring. Ava Perez lands punches from the mount position.

JIM LAMPLEY: Anytime you think it’ll go one way, it goes the other!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: What a thrill ride this match is!

Ava Perez shifts from the mount into an armbar on the hurt right arm of Lexie Cole. Ava Perez hyper extends the arm of of Lexie Cole but she struggles and manages to rolls back and start to stand up.

JIM LAMPLEY: Great transition from mounted punches to armbar, that entire sequence of moves was fantastic!

MAX KELLERMAN: This match has been an entire sequence of excellence! These ladies are putting the men to shame inside the squared circle!

Lexie Cole stands up completely and Ava Perez releases the arm, instead wrapping her feet around her head to take her down with a headscissors.

JIM LAMPLEY: Can’t finish with the armbar so she moves to the next move.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: I’m surprised she couldn’t finish with that armbar!

Both women stand up and it’s Ava Perez who arm drags Lexie Cole down by her good arm. She’s back to her feet fast and but she’s arm dragged back down as Ava Perez is ready for her.

JIM LAMPLEY: She can’t even stop those arm drags with her defenseless arm!

MAX KELLERMAN: She can just take them and fight back up.

Lexie Cole stands up cautious of running into another armdrag. Ava Perez throws a bicycle kick that catches her to the chest pushing her back into the corner.

JIM LAMPLEY: With the arms of Lexie Cole low to stop an armdrag, and the other because it’s dead, Ava Perez goes high and lands big!

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: I’m surprised she didn’t throw it to her face, but Ava Perez is the one in there and not me!

Ava Perez runs in and connects double knees into the chest of Lexie Cole in the corner holding them in position.

JIM LAMPLEY: That’s probably why she threw the kick to the chest, setting up the combination of moves!

Ava Perez hooks the head of Lexie Cole then kicks out of the corner spinning around with a wicked snap Tornado DDT instantly transitioning it into the Anaconda Crossface as they roll on impact!

JIM LAMPLEY: AMAZING!

MAX KELLERMAN: The set up to that was perfect, really top level stuff, world class skill!

Ava Perez pulls back on the Anaconda Crossface in the dead center of the ring. Lexie Cole holds up her good hand but can’t fight it at all and is forced to tap out before any more damage can be done. The referee grabs at the hands of Ava Perez as she breaks the hold.

JIM LAMPLEY: We have our PWF Women’s Champion.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: What A fight.

[DING DING DING]

The referee gets both women to stand up. Medics climb into the ring to check on Lexie Cole as the referee holds onto Ava Perez’s wrist.

MICHAEL BUFFER: The referee has called a stop to this fight at thirty minutes and fifteen seconds, Declaring the winner via submission and NEW…. PWF Women’s Champion…. Ava Perez!!!

MAX KELLERMAN: Congratulations to the new PWF Women’s Champ… How are you feeling Ava?

Ava Perez smiles.

AVA PEREZ: I’m so happy I done this for Puerto Rico.

Ava Perez wipes away the sweat with a towel.

AVA PEREZ: Lexie Cole is a hell of a fighter and I would like to rematch if she wants.

Lexie Cole comes over clutching her damaged arm, She says congratulations to Ava Perez and they both hug in the ring as the cameras fade out.
