Hey! Welcome to Tiandi. Although similar to Earth in a number of ways, Tiandi features a unique history different from other RP regions on NS.

If you have any questions that aren't answered here, or feel that it wasn't answered fully, feel free to ask me or any other region members.

How do I join the region?

Make a claim here. Remember to read the entire OP. Knowing that you haven't is obvious. Arumdaum, probably after talking to you a bit, will then accept your claim.

How do I get on chat?

Go to this link. Put what you want to be called in "Nickname" and type in #Lucerna for the channel.

Does Tiandi use calculators and/or NS stats?

Absolutely not. You make up your own stats. If you need help, ask Arumdaum or other fellow region members.

The area I want to be in is all filled up. What do I do?

You can try asking Arumdaum whether you may take up space occupied by an NPC, or ask players whether you can take a portion of their claims. You can also try asking Arumdaum whether he can alter the map for you.

What's the map scale?

1 pixel runs 9 km north-south and 9 km east-west, meaning that each pixel is 81 km2.

I've made a claim, but why am I not on the map yet?

First of all, make sure that your app was accepted. Usually, I'll ask for some things to be changed. Maps aren't updated automatically either. You may have to wait a few days for an updated map.

Is Tiandi connected to the rest of the NS world or the RL world?

No. Tiandi is a planet in which no portals to other dimensions exist, and in which technology has not advanced enough for interstellar travel or whatnot. Nations in Tiandi can only interact with other nations in Tiandi.

Do we RP on the offsite or NS forums?

All RPing takes place in the NS forums.

Am I allowed to have a puppet? How many?

As many as you'll be allowed, really. It depends upon their area size, population, and GDP per capita. If a puppet just sits there, we may ask for it to be removed.

Where do we place factbooks/what wiki does Tiandi use?

Tiandi solely uses IIWiki. If you've been using another wiki prior to that, try importing it to IIWiki.

If you've been using Wikistates, then the code should be the same. However, if you've been using NSWiki, you'll have to redo some things. If you need help, go on #IIWiki in chat, or ask for help from any region members.

Tiandi is run by Asians? What?

Ah, yes, the biggie. Tiandi's history played out in a way as to cause this region's East Asia to temporarily dominate the globe for a few centuries, as opposed to Europe. Europe isn't as advanced or as wealthy in the region, although some European nations may have "Easternized" in order to do so.
