[►] RED was the casual teenager living in Gotham City. Born to a poor family, a drugged father, and a constantly beaten mother, who took her own pains and sufferings out on the boy himself, he had really no thought about his future. Eventually, as he grew, he resented the way that his family had been living, the way that the people around them hated them, and wanted to make a difference. He resorted to petty robberies, breaking into warehouses and stealing what he needed to help his family survive. He's been looting warehouses for five years, ever since he was eleven years old. One night, upon his regular looting, he came across a building that seemed abandoned, as many in Gotham did. When he broke inside, he noticed the glimmer of something metallic in the center, something red. When he walked up, he saw Jason Todd's equipment-stash hidden away inside a barely, held-together crate. It spilled out on the floor after closer inspection. On the floor, the old, red metallic mask that once belonged to Gotham's most ruthless vigilante gleamed up to him. He lent down, picked up the mask, put it on, and started fighting crime with nothing but himself, the streets of Gotham, his new helmet, and a single glock pistol. He was later invited to the Teen Titans development program for his work in Gotham City.
MENTAL ABILITY-
Intelligence: Though nowhere near considered a genius in any sort of art or fashion, he's tested to be slightly above average for his age. He's never gotten perfect marks in school, but he dislikes relative education anyway. He dropped out of high school around sophomore year, and devoted his life to fighting crime shortly afterward. Through sheer amount of messing about with Bat-Tech, computers, and the Workshop machinery, RED has shown himself able to build machinery, equipment, and high-level technology. He's looked through several high-security computer programs on his own, and has even grown ability to de-code firewalls for such. He's made himself familiar with the Workshop, his own equipment, neural systemization, and the in-and-outs of his weaponry.
Adaptive Intuition: Although he isn't an intellectual with computers, or, well... very much anything recorded in books, his mind processes things very quickly. If given some sort of incentive to learn something, he'll do so quickly, and very efficiently. He's quick at grasping the general concept of things before he delves into them, which allows him to understand a deeper meaning. For instance, he's once fixed up his friend's old motorcycle just by tinkering about with the parts until he understood how they worked, or how he found a criminal's head quarters by looking for clues, and piecing the puzzle together.
Strong Willpower: Since going through simulations where he's had to commit assisted suicide and under-go heavy strain of physical pressure throughout his enrollment at the academy, (mostly because he's been beaten around by most if not everyone at attendance), Red is a very strong-willed person. He is able to overcome most forms of temptation and resist the effects of extreme pain, drugs and toxins to a great extent. He is able to resist the effects of very weak telepathy, but his mind is still vulnerable to most if not all forms of telepathic enslaving.
PHYSICAL ABILITY-
Peak-Human Conditioning: Through sheer determination, mental strength,a nd physical training, he's lifted his physical condition far beyond the natural human capability. He's received no specific training, everything he's gotten and earned has been his own, the same goes for his physical ability. He's his own trainer, bio-enthusiast, and comparison.
Peak-Human Strength: Red's physical strength has been trained to the very peak of human potential. As a result, he is as physically strong as a human being can be without being classified as superhuman. Red has been seen bench pressing 544 kg/1,200 lbs on each side of the bar, which is consistent with his strength level, as benching is easier than military press lifting. This strength also extends to his legs, enabling him to leap 6mt/20ft out in a single bound and 10ft/3 meters into the air without a running start. He can snap steel handcuffs and chains, and is capable of breaking through wooden walls and steel doors with a single kick.
Peak-Human Durability: His bones and muscles are denser and harder and so are amplified to the highest human potential, which makes him very durable compared to a normal human. He is durable enough to the point that if a person beats him with a thick wooden stick, the stick would eventually break and Red would show little discomfort. This level of durability is how he survived other forms of extensive punishment throughout his existance at the academy, such as falls from several stories like when he landed on a car from 6000cm/200 feet with no discomfort. Red's durability is high enough to where he can take blows from beings with low superhuman strength, and not be fatally injured. For example, if Red's fists batter against solid, reinforced steel, his bones wouldn't break, shatter, or dislocate.
Peak-Human Speed: Through mental determination and physical training, Red's nervous and bodily-systems have been lifted as far as possible, allowing him to run at almost olympic level speeds, and is in the top 0.01% of runners in the world in terms of maximum speed and acceleration. This speed also transitions to his body movement; able to remove a coin from somebodies palm too fast for them to fully register. He can run at speeds of up to approximately 48 kilometers per hour (30 miles per hour) or higher, and has run a mile (1.6 km) in 73 seconds (49 mph/78 kph). When under duress he can run a mile in just over a minute (60 mph).
Peak-Human Reflexes: By uplifted training, RED HOOD was able to amass incredibly fast reflexes. These reflexes have proven enough to be able to catch an arrow mid-flight and dodge gun-fire from close range. Although this is part speed, he has an uncanny intelligence and is able to anticipate attacks to enable himself to react to them far more fluidly than most of the Batman Incorporated.
Peak-Human Agility: With the whole year he's spent running from building-to-building in Gotham City, RED HOOD's agility was made higher than that of the regular human, allowing him to free-run around obstacles found in city-life. Whilst he still only young, he has studied and taught parkour to himself, and only himself. He's shown capable of doing quick-rolls, but has yet to execute a standing backflip.
Peak-Human Endurance: By testing and bordering the maximum in human potential in his attempts to rid Gotham City of crime, RED HOOD has lifted his lung capacity to incredible levels. He is capable of holding his breath for roughly 2 minutes before dropping unconscious, and has amassed a high tolerance of all kinds of drugs and narcotics, whilst not being superhuman. He can push himself for a full hour on end without slowing down.
Advanced Combatant: Through sheer determination, mental strength, and physical training, he's lifted his physical condition far beyond the natural human capability. He's received no specific training, everything he's gotten and earned has been his own, the same goes for his physical ability. He's his own trainer, bio-enthusiast, and comparison. Though ever since attending the Teen Titans Development Program, his physicality has increased exponentially. The term "Peak-Human" is truly loosely played when describing Red's physical features, because he's improved, and is now able of far greater feats than he was before.
Advanced Marksman: Though his abilities in hand-to-hand combat are developing and are growing, RED HOOD's ability with his pistols, bows, throwing knives, assault rifles, grenade launchers, etc, have shown excellency. As stated, he is skilled with throwing knives, bows, etc, though his specialism lies in dual pistols and assault rifles. Already, he is able to calculate trajectory, ricochet bullets and even analyze other peoples throwing/shooting ability.
EQUIPMENT SYNOPSIS-
RED HOOD Suit: After finding Jason Todd's equipment stash in an abandoned warehouse, he took on the mantle, however his interpretation involved jeans, a t-shirt, and a biker's jacket. His gauntlets and boots each contain eight compartments in which he can store items. His mask is, infact, Jason Todd's old metallic red hood. It provides built-in radio transmitter/receiver and Starlite night-vision lenses, allowing him to listen into criminal and police-reports through his mask, and see in the dark. The mask also offers better protection for his face.
Dual-P250 Pistols: "A low-recoil firearm with a high rate of fire, the P250 is a relatively inexpensive choice against armored opponents."
A low-recoil firearm with a high rate of fire, the P250 is a relatively inexpensive choice against armored opponents. The P250 holds 13 rounds of .357 SIG caliber. With 26 rounds in reserve and has a magazine capacity of 13 in each magazine. However, with shoddy marksmanship and the over-all inexperienced mentality, he, reluctant to say, has mishaps with his weaponry. Either its a gun-jam, a mis-hap with his grip, or maybe just miss-firing. He's yet to kill anyone with his weaponry, or his fists, as he doesn't think it's right.
AK-47 Assault Rifle: "Powerful and reliable, the AK-47 is one of the most popular assault rifles in the world. It is most deadly in short, controlled bursts of fire."
The AK-47 (or known as Avtomat Kalashnikova (Автомат Калашникова in Russian) Kalashnikov, AK, or in Russian slang, Kalash in real life) is a selective-fire, gas-operated 7.62×39mm assault rifle developed in the Soviet Union by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is sometimes used by the Russian Spetsnaz as a Counter-Terrorist organization, but is considered outdated, succeeded by the AKM, made in 1959, or the AK-74, made in 1974. In RED's arsenal, the AK-47 is strapped over his back, in relatively open view. When he doesn't have it on him, it won't appear on his figure.
Sawed-Off Shotgun: "The classic Sawed-Off deals very heavy close-range damage, but with its low accuracy, high spread and slow rate of fire, you'd better kill what you hit."
The Sawed-Off is a modified Remington 870 shotgun with a shorter, 'sawed-off' barrel. It fires seven rounds of 12 gauge ammunition. It inflicts very high damage which can kill an enemy with just one shot at close range and two to three shots in medium range. This shotgun can be fired while reloading, and like all other shotguns, it has a 3x kill award multiplier with 32 shells held in reserve.
Flashbang Grenade: "The non-lethal flashbang grenade temporarily blinds anybody within its concussive blast, making it perfect for flushing out closed-in areas. Its loud explosion also temporarily masks the sound of footsteps."
The flashbang is composed of a pyrotechnic metal oxidant-mix of magnesium or aluminium, and an oxidiser such as potassium perchlorate. When this device explodes, it releases a blinding flash and an explosive, deafening bang. All beings with a clear sight to it will be affected, their entire vision obscured by whiteness for a maximum of 5 or 10 seconds.
HE Grenade: "The high explosive fragmentation grenade administers high damage through a wide area, making it ideal for clearing out hostile rooms."
The HE grenade is essentially a pineapple-shaped sphere filled with ammonium perchlorate and Composition B (the latter being a combination of Research Development Explosive and trinitrotoluene). It can kill targets caught in the blast up to 5 feet, but has the potential to substantially wound and incapacitate out to 25 feet. These grenades are usually used to blow open entrances or door ways, not to kill.
Incendiary Grenade: "When thrown, the incendiary grenade releases a high-temperature chemical reaction capable of burning anyone within its wide blast radius"
The incendiary grenade releases White Phosphorous which burns up to 5000 degrees Fahrenheit. It is used primarily as an area denial weapon, and secondarily to incinerate enemy materials or personnel. When thrown, the incendiary grenade will emit a flammable liquid capable of burning anybody that walks in it. The flames will injure and incinerate anyone who is within the fire. It can be extinguished by throwing a smoke grenade over it, or any other means of extinguishing White Phosphorous-esque flames.
