Hotel Username: TranscendedAnal
Character Name: Hunter Black
Character Alias: The Absence
Character Age: 17
Character Affiliation: Wayne Foundation
Character Powers: Umbrakinetic Prowess: Hunter Black has a mastery over the darkness itself, making it a formidable ally.
  • Shadow Marionette: Hunter Black is able to control his target via the connection between them and their shadow. Some level of light is needed for the targets shadow to form behind them, though, and they must be connected via their shadow.
  • Shadow Mimicry: Hunter is able to become akin to a shadow, becoming swift and weightless.
  • Umbrakinetic Construction: Hunter is able to give weight, mass, volume, etc to shadows, making them into objects such as walls and weapons. He is unable to make them into organic beings, though.
  • Shadowic Tendrils: Hunter has control over shadowic tendrils that loom behind him, giving him a extra range for his reach, and another weapon.

Character Abilities:
  • Endurance: Hunter is trained to endure many hits, although he still can flinch, and he still does take damage from whatever hits him.
  • Pistol Mastery: Hunter wields a very bulky hand cannon - known as Matermea - in his arsenal, and is very skilled with firing it. Although, he rarely uses it, due to the fact that his powers can handle situations just as well.

Character Weaknesses:
  • Lack of Light (This can sometimes be both a strength and a weakness, considering that without light there is more darkness to control, but people do not have shadows in a lack of light)
  • Distress
  • The Darkness makes him seemingly always cold.
  • To help with emotional distress, Hunter always keeps a music box at hand (the tune playing). It will always seemingly calm him down whenever in times of concern.

Uh, I don't really understand the Shadow Marionette thing. Can you go into a bit more detail for me, please? Also, can I get a physical force comparison in tonnes for your constructs? Thanks.

The Shadow Marionette means that I can take control of someones shadow, which in turn if it is connected to the person im targeting means that I take control of their body.

And usually, constructs can be any weight, from very light to very heavy. I cant go into much detail about tonnes, though... I get confused with that kind of stuff.

State some sort of weakness to your shadow marionette and you'll be good to go :)

For the shadow marionette weaknesses:

1. The targets shadow MUST be connected to their body. If it isn't, then it wont work.
2. I need SOME sort of light level for their shadow to be visible, or else it wont work whatsoever
3. Most likely, controlling someone with the Shadow Marionette while having low power level (AKA Just starting up) would put a lot of strain on my character. Sort of like how some Telekinesis people get nosebleeds if they cant break into someones brain. It would also most likely be harder to pick up someone bigger, like Mongul, with the Shadow Marionette.

If these weaknesses for the Shadow Marionettte aren't too good, Ill just remove the power entirely.

Please stand-by while we try to decide whether your character is fit enough to stay in the manor. However, you are fine to walk about for now.

Yours faithfully,
