Following up the robots is a sky-borne castle and a bunch of round-faced kids. Mackenzie talks about the Month of Miyazaki.

In my opinion, this was the worst one out of the trio of articles I've submitted. I don't know, I just don't think I wrote this one well at all.

You gave it an A-list presentation, though. Thank you very much for that.

Edit: Not only that, but I screwed up my dates, too. Please fix that. Please.

Which dates are wrong?

Anyway, next time feel free to take longer on it if you need the time. If I don't know you're working on it, I can't be sweating with expectation. :D

For some reason, I got the month mixed up with Giant Robot Week's. I said Month of Miyazaki started in February when it actually started mid-March.

Apparently, I can keep GRW straight but not the much more recent MOM (strange acronym . . .). Go figure.

It's a pretty good movie, although my favorite Miyazaki is Castle in the Sky.

I'm trying to comment on your Rurouni Kenshin article, but the link takes me to "The Month of Miyazaki". As a geezer & a fairly newbie otaku (3 years), Toonami reran Kenshin on Saturday nights in February & maybe some March of 2005. I don't remember what arc; I want to say Tokyo, but I'm not sure. Any way, if I had my druthers, Kenshin would be back on [adult swim], but you're right. If Kenshin hadn't broken ground accidentally, Naruto would be a TV-Y7 FV hackjob instead of the TV-PG V it is.
BTW, on the ASMB (Adult Swim Message Boards), people want Naruto, or at least Shippuden on [as]. In Your Humble Opinion (IYHO), would either of those shows uncut be TV-14 & therefore [as] material? Anime News Network gives both Age Rating = Teenagers.

Another thing about the Naruto discussion is [adult swim] v. Cartoon Network. IMHO, CN won't give up Shippuden to [as]; hopefully, TV-PG V wouldn't become a hackjob. If a TV-PG V edit of Naruto Hurricane Chronicles (Shippuden) yields the same level of violence as the current Naruto, Shippuden will be on Cartoon Network... BELIEVE IT! Until next time... :ph43r:

billyvarnie, I'll reply to you in the actual Rurouni Kenshin thread.

As an aside, Howl's Moving Castle was a good movie. However, I don't think it did all that well. It wasn't promoted until the final days before it aired, compared to say, Zathura, which was promoted nearly a month before it actually aired.

I only saw the end of Castle in the Sky. I saw all of Nausicaa, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away. Unfortunately I have yet to see Princess Mononoke. As for what I've seen I loved each movie I saw. I feel that these movies have qualities animated movies should embody.
