There's many possibilities for why Jack is airing where it is. Number one, they're warming people up for the SJ movie that's due in late 2008 early 2009. Number two, as Andrew mentioned, there's the Moribito possibility. That one is intriguing, because SJ's performance may determine whether that show winds up on Toonami or Adult Swim. Remember that AS asked whether they should air Jack, and received an overall positive response . . . when you consider even the people that didn't want SJ said they wanted it to air again, just not on AS. Number three, it's a test to see if Toonami can air American animation. This could determine whether Toonami gets moved to Fridays. Apparently, SJ's doing well enough. Number four (this is the bleak one): SJ's simply filler to pass the time before Toonami's demise this fall. |

If it means anything, SJ's no longer being listed as a "special presentation" under Toonami's website. It definitely looks like it's going to stay. |

this, moribito, the return of the straw hat, long overdue tidings but still not yet enough, danger does still lurk around the corner, on a friday, in the summer. we will beat it, we will not beat it, we may beat it(raise your hand if you got the reference) |

I'd say it does. If Toonami's acknowledging the show, that probably means they're gonna let Jack stay. Psh, let Jack stay. Who do they think they are? Jack needs not their permission to stay.

I'm glad Samurai Jack is here to stay. It's a great show to watch, and remembering the eps as I see them is nostalgic in itself. |

I absolutely love how hopeful this article is. Jack has been doing surprisingly well, and I only hope that it continues to do as such. And megas coming back. Woo. that would be heaven on earth. The perfect action-comedy. |

Yes, Megas XLR FTW! That was one of my all time favorite shows, ty, for exactly the adjectives you mentioned. Action, and comedy. And of course, real world references and the great Steve Blum. Once again, Megas rocks. |
