Hunting Style – Cooking Method FAQ Q: What can a Style/Method do at base, also what does ‘at base’ mean? A: To start off ‘At base’ means without having any Mastery style perks to increase the number of aspects a Hunting Style/Cooking method a character has. At base a style is just the crux for what you are basing your character off of. This is a simple one or two worded thing, such as Katana, Rubber Band, Claws, Glutton, or Poison as examples. The Base is what you have adapted your lifestyle to become and the fruition of your labor in the world. From there we build off of it using themes. Q2: How do Hunting Style Mastery and Cooking Method Mastery perks work exactly? A2: Both mastery perks increase the number of themes your Style/Method has by 1. Keep in mind you are building off of your BASE Style/method. For example if you are a Katana user at base you could add an aspect of Flame, which sets your blade on fire with rage. Examples of simple aspects being added to some example Style/Methods Base: Theme Rubber Band: Stretching, Ragdoll, Constricting Poison : Poison Sword, Poison Armor, Poison Rifle Explosions : Condensing, Mines, Claymore Hair : Sense, Water-Walk Q3: What if I want more than 2 theme to my Hunting Style/Cooking Method? A3: Characters can take the Mastery perks an infinite amount of times to add to their base Hunting Style/Cooking Method. Q4: I am having trouble getting my character approved! Do mods hate me? A4: No, the staff does not hate you. If it is not getting approved then it means there is still something wrong with it. For help on this try to contact a mod for assistance. Also please try not to make a public spectacle out of getting help. Q4.b: I do not like the help I got from a mod. Why can’t I start with whatever I want? A4.b: Everyone has to work their way up from the ground to become the hunter or chef they want to be. Try to work it out with a mod, get your character accepted and start working on becoming stronger. With effort you’ll be able to expand your Hunting Style/Cooking Method to what you want.
