The voice is squeaky because it assumes regular CPU speed. I had to enable the GBC double speed mode for the images to work properly |

Since I started playing pokemon fairly late (2007) the battery in the gold I got was already dead so it had to be replaced before playing. Funny enough the batteries in my red and blue are fine (due to not having a clock) |
