Hehe, Wii Poll. What do you consider graffiti to be? And I mean real attempts, not something that is obviously made to deface property. Should graffiti be allowed in some areas? Hehe, I think it's almost always urban art and not child play like some people might think. It takes some skill to make those pictures/letters and it's not something anybody could do. |

Urban art. It's basically using a building as your canvas, it should be a proper art form |

As long as they have permission, it's urban art. It can look so cool! |

In my perspective, art is always beautiful, no matter how dirty it is (I really don't care about dirty scenes, because I can be a pervert some times xD *slap'd*) and I think it IS Urban art. :3 |

While really beautiful at times, it is essentially defacing property (although I don't really care one way or the other--let them do what they want). |

It is art, but they can be a little smarter and do that art on a canvas or on a building they have permission to use. The Mona Lisa could have been painted on the side of a building, and as nice as that is, it would still be considered defacement of property. |

Graffiti has its pros and its cons. =/ I love it. It's very unique and can sometimes be very complex. =) In case you don't know, there is legal graffiti and walls built for monumental graffiti, which are the more complex pieces that are most of the time made to honor fallen people such as MLK jr. Most of it also honors the fallen rappers/beatsmiths and great hip hop pioneers such as Tupac, Big L, Big Pun and J Dilla to name a few. The monuments are what makes Graffiti a great essential to hip hop and truly the "Art of War[in the streets]". |
