I love classical music from time to time. Of course it does depend on what it is, i.e. I don't like slow music such as ballads. I do like works from Handel, my fav is the "Royal Fireworks Display" which was composed in 1742 for King George II. |

Classical is one of the few types of music I don't like. I don't know why, it's just...not me. |

if you like Greensleeves then you should try G. F. Handel he's excellent. He was composer to King George II. He made all sorts of famous classical musics such as the music for the fireworks display of 1742 and "Zadok the Priest" which became George II's and all the monarchs after him's Coronation Anthem. It has been played in all of them from that date. All are good old British history. |

I like most classical music, just not the way overplayed pieces. I really like Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. |

Wynton Marsallis is amazing classical trumpet player. He has a great sound and it's very technical. (All classical music is.) |

I like Tchaikovsky too. Especially the Waltz for Swan Lake, I like that piece because it is unpredictable and is exciting because of its variation in tone |

Classical music is often some of the most challenging music ever conceived, which is why it can be so enduring. Without classical music we wouldn't have some of the popular Western music styles we have today. I'm no expert though, and there's still lots for me to learn and explore - lately I've been listening to some more recent stuff (specifically some which leans toward Romantic tendencies), from the early 20th century, such as Barber or Stravinsky. |

I like some classical music, but I hardly ever listen to it, and all I ever hear on Radio 3/Classic is the Pirates of the Carribean theme, which gets on your nerves easily. |

lol, I know I hate listening to the radio. The presenters to Classic FM don't shut up talking. Also if you listen to something good and you want to hear it again, you can't because it won't come back on for months! |

I find classical great because of reasons I've already stated and because of the fact that it is the most challenging. Most classical is played with an orchestra which to control takes lots of preparation as they all have to be in syncranisation and to be alert because of the composer's instruction otherwise it all goes wrong. I think classical is never boring because classical is not a music genre but a music on its own as there are genres of classical i.e. opera, ballet, waltz etc. |
