The lyrics are great, you should listen to them carefully, and in the video you can see how the artist (Samuel Bayel) lived out himself. The lyrics originally are about cancer, and how this disease slowly consumed Hetfields (Metallicas guitarist) parents, but you can take their meanings in many other ways too. For me, the lyrics represent someones struggle with great depression, and how this person tries to get away from it's choking grips, and how he asks others for help.. "Where do i take this pain of mine, i run, but it stays right by my side." and "The pain still shakes me, so hold me, until it sleeps." Well, this was my opinion, what do you think? |
