I apologize for the long break I took, Senior Year's been killing me now. Thank god that the year's almost done, woot ^^. Anyway, here's a new poem for you guys and gals. Something that kept me sane for some time, at the expense of my own sorrow. Enjoy. Serenade Once Remained a Fragment of my Loved one, locked away In the organ people call The Heart. Said to hold true Pain during Reality’s harsh radiation, yet Despite the suffering, I always see you. Wherever I walk, whenever I dream, nothing could Ever replace the love you once gave to me. I cry, and I feel your arms around my soul. I walk, and I sense your essence of beauty accompanying me. I dream, and I see you, in person, counting the very seconds Time offered to me. A dream I refuse to wake from, But alas, the Limit has been reached. I awake in My own guilt, knowing that I should have held Onto you throughout the years and I am To blame for playing The Child in An Adults’ World. The memories we Once held, now just another Tear on the body; Your face, personality, Lucid appearance, Gone. |
