Actually, that's pretty good. You could try and change the head though, it just looks like Cream. |

Eh, it's a very minor edit. Try splicing. |

Actually, that was just a simple suggestion. Still, nice sprite, though. Even if editing is minor, but we all can't be God when it comes to spriting, can we? |

Becoming good at spriting is all about competition. Teaching someone else to sprite also helps you in the long run. |

My spider sense tells me that was uncalled for, Sky. I don't think it's all about competition, but that's certainly a good reason to sprite. But yeah, keep stuff like that to yourself. |

Trying to get better than your friends actually helps you get better. Seriously there is only so much you can learn by yourself. Also keep at it Zeero. And like Gale said; try splicing. |

Amazing how I'm still changing in outwards behavior.

I hate to sound like I'm taking sides or somethin' dumb like that, but, I'd have to agree with Shadre and Croc. Competing and comparing usually makes you see what you could do better. Merely by looking at other peoples' and comparing yours to theirs, you can sometimes find something in their style that catches your eye (depending on the peron being compared to), and maybe you could take that in consideration. Also, I think that showing sprites off in public more is a great way to imporve as well; hopefully, if they can give it- and if you can take it-, people will give you advice on cons and pros. I mean, what's the point of showing artwork off online when all people can say are merely positive things instead of constructive advice (DOn't get me wrong there, though; having a positude attitude when giving out critique plays an important role as well... I mean, if youn were to basically 'harass' a peron- mostly a newebie- with negative constructive comments, then after awhile, they'll most likely just think; "Oh, screw this; you're not even giving me a chance.")? It may seem hard at first, but, over time, you can usually get better at taking constructive critique. But, that was a bit random. A bit of advie I could give you, zeero, would be with the shades on her fur color: Try to make the second darkest tone a little lighter, because it looks almost a lot like the third- darkest one. ^^; I think it'd look a lot better that way, in that case. ^_~ But, that's all I can say now. I've gotta leave. |
