Well, it looks like SEGA let a bug slip by their QA testing of the 360 version, The bug happens in Windmill Isle Act 1 near the beginning of the act. Since Xbox 360 games can be updated via Xbox Live, it may not be much of a problem for SEGA to fix this via an update.

I've tried the Wii version and renting the Xbox 360 version now, and the 360 version feels ALLOT better IMO ^^;, the main gameplay is better, the controls are better, the fighting in the Warehog stage is better, etc. The game is a VERY huge improvement, especially from the rushed crapfest that was Sonic 06, and almost all previous post SA games. Though sadly, most reviewers are still rating the game down by picking out every single flaw there is ^^;. I would give the game about an 8.3-8.5 or so and the Wii version about a 7.0-7.3 or so. The game has some random glitches, like the loop glitch Augie pointed out but thankfully, on 360/PS3, those are easily fixable.

One thing I have to say, the graphics in the 360/PS3 version look very, very good ^^;. They took a more simple style and worked on it really well =3.

So basicly, we finally have a "must have" for Sonic fans again for consoles ^^;.

Master Blacksmith Tails. HE LOOKS LORDY GOOD!

I think I am getting the Wii version despite all the good reviews about the Xbox 360. The reason behind this is that my lil' brother wants SSBB which is only available (at least that is what I know so far) on the Wii.

Though I might as well save money for a Xbox 360 so I can get the real hardcore games which are so great. Games like: Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, Sonic Unleashed, etc really are to my liking. The Wii is more aimed for family play and the hardcore games just isn't that much of a family thing. It's more a "lock yourself up in your room and play all day/ night long until you drop" thing.

I need to check prices of an Xbox here in Holland some day so I can make a unrefined date on when I saved enough money. My parents don't allow me to take a job (I am 16 years old so I am allowed to do so) or even a simple paper round because they are afraid my school results will go down. Honestly I agree with them, but on the other side: it makes me get out of the boring times faster :T14: .
Forget this 'off topic' thing and let's head on with the main topic.

It will take some time and consideration to choose on which console I will get this game, but this certainly, 100% sure, without a doubt is going on my MUST have games. They finally made a good game after the big blooper 2 years ago which was a complete shame and probably the reason why they pick on the minor flaws so badly. A game can't be perfect, not yet at least, there are always some things that the designers overlooked, that makes them human.

Well, the Xbox 360 is a very good console, pretty much all the RROD issues have been ironed out in new consoles, and the new dashboard makes it much better (they also have something similar to Mii's called Avatars now). Also, I am sure the price in Holland is the same as the rest of Europe, €179.00 for the Arcade (Core), €239 for the Pro, and €299 for the Elite. I would recommend the Pro unit, especially since you can't really get any demos, addon content, etc. with just the memory unit in the Arcade system.

Just a reminder to Wii players, if you feel that the Wiimote/Nunchuck combo is not working out for ya in the Warehog stages, you can always use the Classic or Gamecube controller instead.
