SEGA Announces Super Monkey Ball: Step and Roll!

SEGA today announced that Super Monkey Ball is coming back to the Wii with SMB: Step and Roll! Coming off the sucess of the iPhone game and it's 2 main GameCube games, The game is returning to it's roots of providing with more focus in the tradtional arcade game with new levels plus the usall party games, the twist this time is that it will be controlled using the Wii Fit Balance Board. The wait will be long though as SEGA is taking their time on this game, which is scheduled for Early 2010.

My sister adores those games. I can find them annoying at some times, but with the balance board added, it'll be a bit more fun probably.

Ulala, you know just how to float my boat

I'm glad to hear the controls are working at this stage, since NiGHTS JoD and Samba De Amigo struggled with the Wii's controls. And I'm liking those graphics! It sounds like it's doing quite nicely thus far.

Also, I miss the Monkey names they had going in the older games for the minigames. I know Banana Blitz had tons, but I liked "Monkey" Race, "Monkey" Bowling, "Monkey" Target...eh, you get what I mean. XD Maybe the names will get changed, but it's a very, very, very, very minor detail anyway. ^_^;
