" Necessity is the first cousin of invention. "

I think I held off quite well not posting this yet. >.<.

With the popularity of Electronic Arts' supposed ' epic ' video game, Dante's Inferno, I felt the need to actually have a discussion on what I consider Epic. The 30+ canto epic poem from the middle ages poet, Dante Alighieri. Composed with three poems,

Inferno,
Purgatorio,
and Paradiso.

I'm sure some of you heard these terms before, whether it was in video games, anime, or even in books, and it all dates back to the best literary art form to date.

Purgatorio is actually my favorite poem in the Comedy. It's so uniquely compare to the others and very vivid. I still haven't forgot the fact that Dante ascended into the light to Paradiso in all vivid detail.

Your thoughts on one of the poems?

Eee?

oh yeah, I read these during high school
I think it's quite interesting book covering aciant mythologys and stories. Also I liked optimistic way of thinking by putting "stars" as symbol of hope on end of each poem.
surely one of man king masterpieces.

Personally, I prefer a " Mid summers Night Dream " but that's just me from Shakespeare.

Shame there isn't another Divine comedy.
