Favourite Mario Game?

Okay, firstly a confession. When I was younger I was more of a Nintendo fan than a SEGA one, and it was only the fact that my mothers old boss won a SEGA Master System II as a prize and gave it to my mother that I even owned a SEGA console (and I am glad he did).

But anyway, what Mario games have you played and which Mario game is your favourite?

My favourite Mario one is Super Mario World on the Super NES, I believe that got everything about Mario right, and was an extremely enjoyable to play, especially with my brother. Super Mario brother 3 was fun too, but for me, it was Mario World that really got the game perfect.

Who is Pooka?

I loved Super Mario World... but Super Mario 3 is another story, and Bowser looks cool.

Super Mario Bros has to be my favorite. So beatable, so time limited, and still fresh as always.

I'm a SEGA guy now, but despite this, for the millionth time, Bowser is my #1 all time character.

I gotta say Super Mario World as well. I love the millions of secrets the game had with the different stage endings and hidden star world. It also had a great balance of difficulty, especially in the hidden stages.

Pony up, Tails fans!

I've only played the Wii version of New Super Mario Bros, and it's pretty awesome. Never played the classics.

My presence here isn't that common, but I still consider Tails to be one of my favourite video game characters. Somewhere between the Undertale cast and TF2's cast.
PM me and I'll get back to you with up-to-date contact details if you're into playing some TF2, Splatoon 2, Civ 5, Terraria, Minecraft, Puyo Puyo Tetris, or many other PC / Wii U / Switch games.

My lil reward for being nice or something.

Super Mario world would be the fav of the classics for me, as for recent games, I would give that to Super Mario Galaxy, before Sonic Colors came out, that game had the best Wii graphics and gameplay out there.

Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES. It was the first Mario game I played (besides one on the original BW GameBoy). It was on one of my favorite games and still is today.

This is a really tough one. I'm gonna have to go with Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64. It has awesome gameplay and I used to play it a lot back when it was a brand new game.

Definitely Super Mario Worked for the SNES. Amazing game, so many levels, and so many secrets too. There's so much replay value.

Mario Teaches Typing.

Nah, I kid. Though not my favorite, I did like Super Mario Sunshine, and I almost beat it 100% save for 119 Shine Sprites and 8 blue coins. I could not for the life of me find those last two in Noki Bay T_T

Yes, I do love to roleplay. I don't like any more than two people involved, and I'm more inclined to furry/sci-fi. PM or IM me if interested.

LOL I remember Mario Teaches Typing. I had that game in the early 90's. It was a DOS game. It was one of the first educational Mario games. I read Nintendo made a second installment of Mario Teaches Typing in 1996 or so.

Dancing at the moment, please leave a message

Too...many...to choose from...

Let's see...it's between Super Mario World (GBA), Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (I remember spening quite a bit of time replaying that one), and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door...

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with Super Mario World as well, but there are so many great ones.

Super Mario Brothers was one of the first games I ever played, and I found it a bit tough as a child, but the warp zones are essential for beating the game, that or a lot of spare time (this was a period before saving games was a regular feature on consoles, this is one of the reasons The Legend Of Zelda was so amazing in its day, and still is now)

I've never played New Super Mario Brothers on the Wii, but I've played the DS version of it which is epic. Mario seems to be fun whichever generation of gaming it is.

Super Mario Galaxy, I never really got into, but then I live in such a small house, that it is difficult to play any Wii games.

Super Mario 64 is a great game; I remember being blown away by how amazing the graphics were at that time, and how great the game play was. It would definitely be in my top 5 Mario Games.

Super Mario Land 2 is another good game, and introduced a classic Nintendo character, Wario. One of the Worlds I most recall about that game is the Lego type world.

Super Mario Sunshine is actually a Mario game I never played much, I think at the time I was more into Playstation 2 games and it was also difficult to get Gamecube games locally, it seems like a really interesting Mario game though, I hope that I can find it cheap from a reliable source someday.

As for Mario teaches typing, that sounds like an....interesting game. Personally I am waiting for the re-release of Tails and the music maker though. :P
