Whether it's offline or online, how do you like to play a typical game? By yourself, with a friend on the other controller or online, with others?

For me, I usually like to play online. Games such as the Midnight Club series are already great playing by yourself, but once you step foot in an online game, the competition is irresistible. No AIs that are programmed to follow a certain route; online you shoot through high-speed checkpoints, right next to unpredictable racers. It's the feeling of not knowing what they're gonna go, no clue of what they might do, that entices you to enter the online world and continue playing.

Who is Pooka?

I like all of them. Single player immeres you through the story and leaves you to survive alone. Online lets you fight intelligent human beinds and not wacky AI. However, local 2P is really fun especially when you laugh at your friend for mocking up.

So I don't know what to choose exactly!

Dancing at the moment, please leave a message

I've always been a single-player gamer. I prefer to do most things on my own, to be honest.

AH, Dreamcast (great single-player games) flashback time! :TailsSuperJump: Sonic Adventure, Ecco: DOF, Deep Fighter (Dreamcast seemed to have a thing for underwater, you could even go underwater in Crazy Taxi), the list goes on and on...ahead of its time...

Pony up, Tails fans!

I prefer single player, because in games I play there is either no multiplayer or terrible players.
Playing with friends helps greatly, however.
A Tails fan, brony and gamer all in one!

Babs Seed is my favourite pony - she has an inactive blog here: Ask Babs Seed
My presence here isn't that common, but I still consider Tails to be one of my favourite video game characters. Somewhere between the Undertale cast and TF2's cast.
PM me and I'll get back to you with up-to-date contact details if you're into playing some TF2, Splatoon 2, Civ 5, Terraria, Minecraft, Puyo Puyo Tetris, or many other PC / Wii U / Switch games.

My lil reward for being nice or something.

I prefer couch co-op when I play games. The pregame trash talking and friendly banter is always entertaining. However, since my sister moved out, I don't really have a partner on the couch to play with. I enjoy online multiplayer as well, but only when playing Left 4 Dead and similar titles. Otherwise, I play everything else solo, no one to help me but also no one to mess things up or get in my way.
Just another Sonic the Hedgehog fan. One who has only had the privilege of playing the old sidescrolling trinity for Genesis. Also has Spinball. Currently playing Sonic CD on Steam. Sure I like MLP but it doesn't mean we can't get along. Right?

Well, online games is what led me to my username, I played Toontown online a lot a few years ago and made quite a few friends on there that I still talk to to this day.

I usually play one player games, I use to play two-player games with my brother when I was younger, but don't have that opportunity anymore. One player games are fun though, although, I have yet to experience that joys of online gaming....

Single player, but I like 2-player games too. You know what you forgot? Multi-player... if the person has a multi-tap thingy. I once played one of the WWE games for the PS2 with the multi-tap thingy, that was really really fun. If I ever have the opportunity and there's a game that allows 4 players or more... I go for that.

Co-op is really fun and whenever I play a 2 player game, I try to make sure it's a co-op game. I have played games where you play against a friend and that's no problem. These days I'm mostly a single player since I sadly lost a few friends last year and one of them was a big-time gamer. I used to play 2 player games with him and I remember one time we played this fun co-op game for the PS2. As for online multiplayer, I haven't played an online multiplayer game in years. The last one I played was Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. In my opinion, the Tony Hawk games were the best online multiplayer games ever.
