http://steamcommunity.com/tradingcards Guess what? Steam is sort of expanding to feel more alike Pokemon... Oh my god, Pokemon, you trade cards like no tomorrow, and Steam is sort of doing this as well... Except that these cards also give you perks. You can change your profile background, or get emoticons, and show off badges and game stats instead of the normal profile with text on it. Though I think this is good, this is going to be a debate that will end up on Valve's end. Customers will rage even more about the lack of communication on the "/me" removal. Emoticons could be the next way people can be scammed, yet "/me" will remain missing. Also there will be a gap between members without trading cards and members with trading cards and badges. What's your say so on the whole ordeal? |
