Anybody else here played any games of the Echo franchise? Specifically Defender of the Future? That Dreamcast game blew my mind. When I think of revolutionary Dreamcast games, it definitely ranks high, if not as the first. Never actually passed it before my family's (two) Dreamcast(s) broke. :T10: (It got very, very challenging. Got stumped by the Hatchery level...that is, coming back after being stumped by the Perpetual Fluidity level in my first runs.) Do you think the franchise should make a return? (I know I signed a petition for it to do so.) Edited by Scientific Tails, May 15 2013, 03:22 PM.

I've never played an Echo games. I've been meaning to play an Echo game, but never got around to it. I do remember when the series began. I didn't know there was a Dreamcast game. Well I never a had Dreamcast, so I wasn't aware of too many Dreamcast games. I doubt the series will come back. If you post a link to the petition, I'll sign it. |

I mean, it's not gonna happen, especially with SEGA in its current state and with it not being overly popular amongst many (the petition's fb page has 9 likes), but I would still be all for a return. Apparently the series' creator was all for it a year or so ago. There should at least be a port of the DotF or something. Oh, and apparently DotF was going to have a sequel for the DC, but it was canceled. Not sure if that was because of the game or because of the short life of the system. https://www.change.org/petitions/revival-of-ecco-dolphin-franchise Edited by Scientific Tails, May 15 2013, 03:35 PM.

I signed it and I was signed into change.org. That's a good site for petitions. Cross your fingers that Echo might make a comeback at some point in the future or hopefully near future. |
