I have a decent sized collection and wanted to show it off (not pictured, several VHS tapes and other Genesis games that seem to have gone MIA in my mess of a gameroom, as well as life-sized Sonic and Knuckles plushes that are currently stored in my attic) I do have a Dreamcast and want to pick up the stuff for it as well if I find it cheap enough. Most impressive. But may I ask why you have several Genesis cartridges for the same games? Do you collect them because they are oldies or do you want to make sure you are never left without a copy of the games? :P Also, nice zebra-pattern blanket. That is really cool collection! Those Sega Genesis games bring back good memories of my childhood. |

Sonic games for the Genesis are absurdly common (like the Mario/Duck cart of the Genesis), I'm pretty sure I got the bulk of them free out of rental houses I helped my stepdad clean or got them in lots and just never thinned them out because they're not worth enough for trying to sell them to be worth the hassle. Also, thanks. |

It's funny you make that comparison, the whole Mario/Duck Hunt thing. I actually have ten (yes, ten) Mario/Duck Hunt carts back at my house. |

I mean, you reach a point where you actually get disappointed when you buy an NES lot that doesn't have a copy because it's part of the routine after a while. I remember going through a box I bought once thinking "where's the Mario/Duck Hunt?" because I was expecting it and instinctively checking inside the NES (and sure enough, it was there) because I knew there had to be a copy in there somewhere. It's like the law or something. |

It was not only a bundle-in but sold by itself, so between the two it's so dirt common game stores are known sell it for a quarter. |
