Hi all, i took the car out today for the first time with the zetec. WOW what a difference. The 5 speed box in nice as well I've got to cut a bit more of the tunnel becuase the prop hit under HARD acceleration. Time to find a porsche to play with :D :D |

Deltron, Sound like a fast car. I am new to this locusting business and my car has a 1300 crossflow for now. Out of interest did the bonnet and scuttle height need to be increased to fit the zetec? Thanks Ian |

Hi, i'm running megajolt with the ford edis pack. I've just cut a big hole in the bonnet to fit the air filter, goes even better now. |

I bet it does go better, as well as looking mean B) I bought that good condition black type 9 box off locostbuilders FS, and almost bought a zetec lump to go with it but I'm worried about the cost of getting the whole car up to scratch for a first time IVA so decided to save the money I would have no doubt spent on a new prop and management etc. and instead I'm picking up a ready to run 54k xflow lump to get me going this year. Did you re-do all your fuel and brake lines, if so did you buy a kit or buy all the items individually? Did you follow a handy book at all? Cheers |

Good to see another in bits :P Thanks for putting those up very handy! What have you got supporting the steering column, near the engine mount just before the UJ - I could do with that  |

Some sort of bearing. It looks like the type fitted to industrial machines. You'll have to come over with your camera and a crash helmet !!! |
