Hi All,

Well what can I say, we discussed the fact that Peter said that the last newsletter was going to be his last and who should attempt to follow in his footsteps, Digger said that I should do it as I had nothing else to do...thanks Digger, well somehow I found myself volunteering to be the editor...don't know what happened to the ethos of don't volunteer for anything. 22 years in the Army and I still volunteer.

Digger has volunteered to do an article called "Ask Digger" so can we have some suitable (taxing) questions for him please.

I would also like to have some articles for the next newsletter.

I have discussed with Peter the fact that I do not have the best printer in the world and it is felt with printing costs, postage and our subscription set at £8 that the newsletter should now be printed into a pdf format and available to all members from the members area for them to download and print.

Any questions, comments, stories etc. please email them to me by using the link at the top of the page.

Regards

Bob

Hi Bob
I would like to wish you well in your latest volenteered status.
Hopefully I will be able to give some input as I have with
Peter in the past, the only thing that slows me up is
technology.
I will be hoping my new project will be along locust
lines if not I would hope to keep the readers interest
by by using some marine ply and ford mechanicals.lol

I always wondered how the club managed on just £8.

PDF is a good idea you can download them already I have used this for earlier issues I missed.

Good luck Bob

Well volunteered Bob, and also thanks to Peter for all the hard work with the newsletter over the past few years.

If you change your mind about the printed issue, speak to my dad (richard@greystones.co.uk) who runs a small printing business, this kind of thing is right up his street and I'm sure he'll do 'mates rates' as it's a good cause!

What's your deadline for the next issue? I was going to do a track day write-up.

Hi All,

Well I stated I didn't want to beg but it looks like I will have to as I wanted to get the issue out before I went on holiday. I have had 3 articles but could do with a couple more.

Digger have you done your "Ask Digger"??????

Regards

Bob
