Voyager's Premise; Did it actually work?

The Phoenix has Risen Posts: 36,486 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: January 24, 2006	Voyager was supposed to be about a ship lost and cut off from Starfleet, discovering new worlds and aliens, and making their way home; YET after about 2 or 3 Episodes they forgot all about needing to conserve things, and they somehow had a shuttle replicater and never told anyone, they then meet the borg and wind up taking scenic routes home so, was Voyager's premise a good idea? a poorly executed one? or just TNG lite
