Starbase Houston Within the largely unexplored Typhon Expanse and roughly a half-lighyear from the planet Typhon, drifts a lonely starbase. Only active for a handful of years, Starbase Houston's primary mission is still to explore and chart the area, with regular reports back to Starfleet. The Typhon Expanse is a difficult assignment, isolated and sometimes dangerous. Supported only by the USS Zephyr, a Nebula class starship, the starbase is hours from Federation assistance. First commanded by Captain Jax Jorgenson, Starbase Houston has mapped a surprisingly small portion of the Typhon Expanse, much less then Starfleet had expected. Tired of Jorgenson's ineptitude, Starfleet Command removed him from command and sent Captain Gabriela Torres, a newly promoted commander, in his place. The board is only a few days old, and most of the positions are open.  Crew Manifest |
