Bass are beginning to go on the beds. Some are being caught in the backs of coves and on shallow banks, using chameleon colored plastic worms. The better bass fishing is in the Blackwater River arm of the lake. Stripers are biting well, with a 20+ pound fish being taken on live shad this past week. Crappie fishing is also excellent. |
