Shellcrackers finally started to show some life this past week, as a few citations were written. The fish were taken on live crickets and red wigglers. Most shellcrackers are beginning to bed and the action should continue to be good through next week. Some bass, 5-9 pounds, are biting at Western Branch and Cohoon. Stripers are providing some action, along with bass and crappie at Lake Meade. Walleye are hitting at Lake Smith.
