Water was warm, air was too, and the lake was a madhouse till about midnight. Bait came up right at dark but not many fish until the boats went home. Ended up with 6, 5 stripers and a nice flathead. Thundersticks and flukes did it. Also missed several and had one break off. We stayed within sight of state park property, and probably should have went to the dam area based on the lack of fish encountered. Mayflies were thick. Stayed till 2. |
