Water condition: Muddy

Best time of day to fish: Mid morning and early afternoon

Best stretch:
Riverview Park

Best access point: All Public Ramps and acess areas. In the city of Charlottesville go to Darden Towe and Riverside Park.

Fly fishing hatches in order of importance: Cray fish and bait fish.

Fish species:
Smallmouth Bass

Fishing season: Open Year Round (Guiding offered May-October)

Nearest airport: Charlottesville/Albemarle

Recommended fly fishing leader: 9 Foot Leader
