Posted ImageThe stream is down to a little above normal level. There are lots of hatches taking place
and lots of trout being caught.

Stream Conditions:

Rate: 146 cfs
Level: 3.87 ft
Afternoon Water Temperature: 56
Clarity: clear

7 Day Weather Forecast:

There is a chance of rain everyday for this coming week.
Highs will range from 76 to 88 and lows from 62 to 64 degrees.

Recommended Trout Flies:

Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin, size 6
Black Matuka and Olive Matuka Sculpin, size 4/6
Blue-winged Olives, size 16/18, nymphs, emergers, duns and spinners
Hendricksons/Red Quills, size 12/14, nymphs,emergers, duns and spinners
American March Browns, size 10/12, nymphs, emergers, duns and spinners
Slate Drakes, size 10/12, nymphs and spinners
Little Green Stoneflies, size 16, nymphs and adults
Eastern Pale Evening duns (sulphurs), size 14, nymphs, emergers, duns
and spinners.
Green Sedge Caddis, size 14/16, larva, pupa and adults

Strategies, Techniques and Tips:

Fish the adults when you see trout feeding near or on the surface.
The Brown Sculpin and White Belly sculpin streamers are great flies to use during the
spring months. The Black Matuka and Olive Matuka sculpin flies are also good at this
time of the season.
Various species of the bi-brooded Blue-winged olives are hatching.
LIttle Brown Stoneflies are hatching.
Quill Gordons are hatching..
Blue Quills are hatching.
Little Black Caddis are hatching..
Hendricksons and red Quills are hatching.
