Reported by Charlie Taylor at Charlie Taylor Fishing Good sized stripers are being caught on live shad, near the dam. Some 15 pounders were reported this past weekend. Bass anglers are also successful, fishing live shad, plastic worms and jig 'n pig baits for 3-7 pound largemouth, in 15 feet of water. Carolina rigged plastic worms are also very effective for bass. Crappie anglers are taking good stringers after 8 p.m. or in 25-30 feet of water during the day. |
