Reported by Charlie Taylor at Charlie Taylor Fishing

Some largemouth bass action on topwater baits early and late in the day. Later in the day, plastic worms, Zoom Super Flukes and Horny Toads, fished in the lily pads, will take fish. Some of the larger fish are coming from dropoffs on plastic baits and crankbaits. Catfish are taking nightcrawlers and live minnows. Gar are thick throughout the river.
