The episode title is a bit ominous.

I don't even know, man. Hopefully they have the spin-offs ready by that time :xd:

As for this episode, I think the second thing I'm most hyped for is Arya hopefully returning to Winterfell to find Sansa in charge. It's been TOO LONG!!!
I'm extremely excited for this episode and the meeting between nephew and aunt. Also, the director said they've started laying the groundwork for the spin-offs; but, it'll probably be a full year after Game of Thrones ends before they'll air the spin-off.

OH MY GOD AMAZING EPISODE!!!

Spoilers!!!

Lord Olenna of House Getting Rekt by Cersei's Imagination

Lord Tyrion of House Getting His Plans Rekt by Euron

Lord Cersei of House Revenge

Lord Jon of House Not Bending the Knee (LIKE A BOSS)

The tension between Jon and Dany was real.

When Bronn was marching with the Lannister army he looked fookin' evil.

Finally! Brandon Stark has arrived to give Jon the news! Too bad he left!

Wow, Ser Davos getting emotional... He be the real MVP!!! I would let him be my wingman in getting a girl any day of the week.

No doubt Tyrion is a clever man that only wishes to win the war with little bloodshed... He even quoted the most legendary man in the universe: Ser Bronn of the fookin' Blackwater. Too bad he doesn't know about Euron Greyjoy and his big c*ck!

Sansa is looking good as a leader. Just hope she doesn't let her guard down. And the advice Littlefinger gave her was surprisingly helpful, given Cersei and her bag of surprises for everyone.

The dynamic between Tyrion and Jon will never get old and still happens to be one of my favorite duos in the show, right after Bronn and Tyrion.

Jorah... HE LIVES AGAIN! Sam the real MVP too.

And Jon finally getting his Dragonglass. If only more people believed him... Luckily that's not a problem because at least they believe IN him.

And forget what I said in the other thread, Olenna won the game of thrones once she dropped that fact into Jaime's conscious and soon Cersei's.

Exactly. That's why I'm team Tyrion; he's trying to make sure this war happens with as few casualties as possible. Yet, when Cersei has her army and the greatest armada Westeros has ever seen make surprising war moves, she is ultimately making it very difficult for the war to not suffer from numerous calamities.

Jon is the only one who knows but maybe that's enough. They don't need to believe him, just believe in him.

But if I'm wrong and the Night King arrives with only a few souls left...

Where to start.....wait, I know where!

Bran. When the hell did he become such a dick? If his last name wasn't Stark I reckon I'd be calling for his head right now. He was cold out by the gate, and if that wasn't bad enough, yay, he got even colder out under the tree. Instead of, I don't know, perhaps suggesting how he'd seen how brave she was and how she'd saved Jon and the others by seeking help from Littledouche and the Knights of the Vale, he goes full creeper mode in bringing up how beautiful she was on her wedding night...bringing back all of those awful memories for her. Fookin' go back north of the wall, Bran...you little shit.

Olenna. RIP....even though we didn't see it. Loved her throughout, and she went out in true Olenna fashion. I was REALLY hoping she had poisoned the wine, knowing who was likely going to be showing up and that Jaime would have drank right along with her, she taking him out while killing herself in the process. THAT would have been fookin' amazing!!! But no, the golden douche lives on...ffs.

The meeting between Dany and Jon went just about how I thought it would. "Bow before me". "No". Etc etc etc. The exchanges were great between the two, though I loved the interactions between Jon and Tyrion a wee bit more.

They really are keeping up with this torrid pace all season. Yikes! In one episode the Greydouche sailed back to King's Landing, had his little fun with Jaime and sailed right back out to Casterly Rock, arriving in time to demolish the rest of Dany's fleet.

Oh, and I forgot to mention how I called Cersei having poison on her lips as they were looking a lot more red than usual. It friggin' sucks too because Tyene was finally lookin' hot with that longer hair :xd: :fs:

RIP House Tyrell
RIP House Martell
Olenna went out in style though....her own version of 'The Lannisters send their regards'. I though Jaime was going to slit her throat when she told him it was her who killed Joffrey. Such a badass. I'll miss her.
Unlike Elia Martell who wasn't anywhere near as bad as she thought she was, when it came down to it. It was kind of poetic justice (even though I hate Cersei), and I also totes called the poison in the lipstick when I saw how red her lips were.
Jon not bending the knee was perfect. Dany was very regal, and Jon's all yup, yup, good for you, now how about those white walkers?!
Dany was also not convinced by Tyrion, I think, when he shrugged off the 'stabbed in the heart' comment.
Yara's fate is still unknown, and that's a worry, because Euron is a crazy bastard, but omg how funny was it when he was asking Jaime for some tips about how to please Cersei? You could just about see the steam coming out of Jaime's ears.
Damn, those Iron born weren't impressed with Theon when they pulled him out of the water. I still think he's going to redeem himself somehow before the end. I really hope so. If he doesn't, then I can't see why he's still around, and there is still so much focus on him, if all he's going to do is die quietly somewhere. There has to be something big planned for him. He could have so easily died after saving Sansa, or in the battle...or a million other times. To show him so obviously failing to save Yara really makes me think that he still has an important part to play before he does die.
Bran was very distant. Didn't hug Sansa or anything, and even colder out by the heart tree, but I think that's not really by his own choice. There's a lot going on for him. As he said he can see everything that's ever happened, and he was nowhere near ready to become the three-eyed Raven yet. He has to come to terms with all of that, plus what he said to Sansa, that he'll never be Lord of Winterfell, he'll never be anything but the three-eyed Raven. That's a lot to take in, and be home as well, and know that he was responsible for the old three-eyed Ravens death, Hodors death, Jojens death, letting the Night's King touch him and all that jazz. All the things he knows.
I was hoping it was Arya at the gate though.
The Lannisters definitely out-manoeuvred Dany (and Tyrion). She's now totally cut off from her unsullied, the most dangerous (well-trained, at least. The Dothraki are pretty dangerous too) part of her army, and as Jon said, she doesn't want to use her dragons and kill all of those innocent people. She's also lost two allies, Dorne and Highgarden, as well as most of her fleet, either sunk by Euron when he captured Yara and Elia, or sunk outside Casterley Rock.

What did everyone think of Melisandre's prophecy when she was speaking with Varys?

It was a bit of a mindf**k I thought.
Like she knows that both of them will be dying and that they'll be doing so right there in Westeros. I wonder if she knows how? The army of the dead? A war in the south? Some other way? SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!!!
