Most excellent episode.
Tyrion looked so gutted, both when Dany was chewing him out, and when he saw the devastation of the battlefield. He really does love his bro, so it must be very difficult for him.

I love Bronn as well as the next, and was glad that he didn't nail Drogon with the first plus-sized bolt as that would have made him already more OP than he already is, but he too should have perished this battle, for the same reason as I've stated above but on a lesser scale. As much as I loved the episode I fear it just helps bolster the idea/theory that GRRM truly does have a hard-on for the Lannister's and that's annoying AF.
Yeah, Bronn can't die, not when he activated God mode moments before the battle. He was even the first one to sense the impending danger with his Bronn senses. I mean, did you see the similarities between the way the camera caught Jon fighting in the Battle of the Bastards and the way the camera caught Bronn here? The living are not done with him yet. Neither are they with Jaime. I believe Cersei will die by the end of the season but Jaime might be a big player in the War for the Dawn.

Dany the unburnt? Bronn the untouchable. Dany the crop duster? Bronn the flak attacker.

The most amazing part is that Bronn could have ran away, especially since he suggested that to Jaime, but instead he saw that Jaime stayed so he stayed too. That's bromance right there.

Jaime got his tail saved by both Bronn and Dickon too, so lol.

I was not disappointed with this week's episode. The second Jon revealed to Theon that Dany was not there I inched closer towards the screen.

I liked a lot of little things this week, as well as the huge things.
Arya and Brienne together. I really liked that although Arya is so obviously skilled they didn't have her just run circles around Brienne. That would have not rung true, because Brienne is an amazing swordswoman too. And how she said 'no-one' when asked who had taught her.
Bronn and Jaime together, Bronn laughing at Dickon. Billy Bones as Dickon. :D
Dany tearing into Tyrion, and saying that maybe he doesn't like killing Lannisters after all. Poor Tyrion. Of course he doesn't. He's not bloodthirsty, but he was out-manuevered by his bro, that's for sure. If Dany didn't have Tyrion's counsel, and then Jon's, would she have done as she said, and set her Dragons loose on the red keep? Does anyone think that Jon bent the knee in the cave, after what she said to him?
Bran is so detached from it all now, and seems so resigned to his fate. I think they're all coming to realise that he is what he says he is, the more he says. Especially the way he knew about Arya's list, and said he'd seen her at the crossroads inn.
The end was of course gobsmacking and awesome, but even in amongst all the fire and craziness there other nice little moments. Jaime refused to leave, and so Bronn stayed too. And Tyrion up on the hill muttering at his bro to leave.
The battle of course was brilliant. Nobody does battles like Game of Thrones.

Also, I didn't catch this, but I just read it. Bran cuts Littlefinger off mid-sentence, by saying 'chaos is a ladder', the exact words Littlefinger says to Varys in S3 when he's just told Varys how pleased he is with himself that he's thwarted Varys plan to marry Sansa to a Tyrell.
Bran has basically let Littlefinger know quite clearly that he's on to him and his scheming, and that he knows that his words that'll he'll protect Catelyn Stark's children are a lie.

We'd wondered where the heck we'd heard that line before as we'd just finished watching through the entire series again as you well know, but we couldn't put our finger on it and ofc we didn't google it either :xd:

I would frickin' LOVE to see Littlefinger, Jaime and Cersei all die this season. WOULD LOVE IT TO BITS!!!
