Nah...

I'll vote for Ygritte because my one true OTP is Jon X Ygritte and I like her much more than Brienne. Plus she can use her bow to quick scope Brienne or something. |

Nah...

You're right, it would be more of a no scope. Silly me, bows don't have scopes. |

This would be a pretty scrappy fight. Brienne has the strength and size, but Ygritte has got more of a street fighting style, much like comparing Bronn with that knight he pushed through the moon door. Brienne knows how to get scrappy, that's for sure, I mean, she's fought a bear, and the Hound, but if Ygritte dodged around a bit, she could tire her out, leap on her back, shank her in the neck while Brienne was still swinging her sword. I think, by a narrow margin, I'll give this one to Ygritte. |

Young Ned would have youth and vigour on his side. Old Ned would have experience, the ability to pace himself, and pre-empt what young Ned would be likely to do next. They would each have their strengths and weaknesses, but Old Ned gave up fighting years ago, he hasn't even competed in a tourney since the Rebellion. Some say it was because of how obvious it would be that he was no match for Arthur Dayne, and he didn't want those questions raised as to how he beat him, others say because of his shame that he didn't beat him fairly. Ned himself says it's so that nobody knows what he's capable of, but the reality is, use it or lose it, and he might have lost his edge. Young Ned has just come from a full year of fighting in the Rebellion, so he is at his peak of strength and ability. In this battle, I give the win to Young Ned. |
