A civil war was roaming across the traditions of the native's, through out the ashes of war the Apaches were able to win their own grounds and start leading their lives as spirits of the world. With the line of the Apaches a young boy would be born continuing life known as Yatoka, he led his life as brightly as most of the youngsters of the tribe. At the age of adultery Yatoka was sent out to hunt in the Red Canyons and beyond. Yatoka was tested by skill, spiritual and both physical. Days, and weeks would pass as Yatoka was not able to find any track of greater carnevous animals, he too wanted to be known of killing wolves but that would not be the case. Yatoka eventually was surprised in his sleep by a roaming mountain cat, commnly known as a jaguar. Both would get into a fight, leading to many heavy inflicted wounds until one point the Jaguar resisted and stuck to his back, there was no choice. He let himself fall from the clif into the giant river. Both boddies would go with the flow of the river, until they would come across the side of the river. Later on Yatoka was found by his tribesmen, laying underneath the Jaguar who's claws on his paw were still stuck in his back. The chief of the village stood still for a moment, and let the tribesmen take him with him to the tribe, where he was considered to be one of them .. and was granted the nickname; Jaguar Paw.
