We are most certain that the US confused the peace agreement obligations with their interest in supporting Persia. USA was supposed to have LESS than a regiment left, not several regiments left in Persia. As soon as the entire 101 Division is out, Soviet has no more reason to stay. |

The Soviet Union does not feel that this is a matter of UN interest, and that this should be dealt with exclusively by the involved nations. The Soviet Union therefore moves for the immediate suspension and halt of these proceedings. |

All foreign armies in Persia, Soviet, British and American, should be withdrawn ASAP. The imperialists who continued to disregard Persia's sovereignty should be ashamed. |

The State Department is alarmed that the CCCP feels they not only can dictate a sovereign countries foreign policy but also threaten the world. If the CCCP continues their aggressive behavior the US feels that a UN security force should be implemented. Apparently it is not permissible for any country other than the CCCP to have military advisors in another country, and when it is allowed by the communists they feel the need to disallow leaving companies and battalions from different regiments. List of Current 101st Airborne Units in Persia The 326th Airborne Engineer Battalion The 326th Medical Company Company A 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment (advisory status) Company C 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment (advisory status) Is it the Soviets intentions to deny the Persians humanitarian aid? If that is the case then maybe the CCCP should give the persians the $1,000,000,000 US to aid the the refuges that were forcibly extricated from Israel. |

I think Soviet Union should comply to the presence of these limited US forces and quit bullying Persia. We have presented a new agreement framework which may include altering the legal status of a specific territory within the Soviet Occupation Zone, in return for Persian sovereignty, This also proves that the US miscommunicated the real status of military forces in Persia. These were all non-combatant forces, engineers, medical personnel as well as military trainers and advisors. It was not regiments, as stated in the last fateful US communique, but merely 2 batallions and 2 companies, which is less than a regiment in total. |

The Soviet Union reminds the US that the current situation is due entirely to their actions, and so perhaps they should stop meddeling in the affairs of others, and concentrate on the internal matters. The Soviet Union also adds that the measure of that the USA suggests, besides being openly warlike, a worrying trait for a post war nation, is impossible under UN operative regulations. Finally, the USSR moves to veto the continuation of this session, again under the UN regulations. |

After party meeting, it was concluded that the Soviet Union would not withdraw unless the Americans completely withdrew to. - Molotov. |
