Main goal is to improve every production of the minimum of 75 % from the base year of 1948. Industrial improvements: 5 new 3,000 Megawatt Coal Fired Power Plants located in Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Ufa and Moscow 20 new Coal Mines, 10 in the Donets Area, 5 in Karaganda, 1 in Sangar, 2 in Workuta, 2 in Sussuman 3 new Coking Plants, 1 in Novosibirsk, 2 in Rostovo 3 new Steel Works, 1 in Lipezk, 1 in Novokusnezk, 1 in Kursk 5 new Shipyards, 1 in Severodvinsk, 1 in Vladivostok, 1 in Sevastopol, 1 in Archangelsk, 1 in Nachodka 5 new Airplane Works, 1 in Kursk, 1 in Mosow, 1 in Leningrad, 1 in Irkutsk, 1 in Vladivostok 1 new Automobile Factory in Nishinji Novogorod Upgrades in the Oil Industry especially in the area of Baku and Samara to create a more efficient production of oil. Transport improvement: First buildings have been starting to built a new railroad line between Irkutsk and Jakutsk in the North. The name of the Project is Fruitful Sibiria. Great numbers of the budget of the Ministry of Transport will be invested in rebuilding the destroyed infrastructure of the USSR, especially in the West of the USSR. Further a great amount will be used to built the connection between Vladivostok and North Korea. Further details here. This plan will cost 80 % of the Budget of the the Ministry of Energy and Economy. |

Today, the contstruction of a new railway connection between Kiev and Dresden have begun. Currently the sections between Kiev Shetomer and Lemberg in the east and between Dresden and the Oder river in the West have started. We are currently waiting for the polish permission to built the third section between the Oder river via Wroclaw to Lemberg. This railroad will use the Soviet gauge of 1520 mm. The approximate costs are $1,000,000,000 for 5 years. |

Construction works, for the world's biggest shipyard have began today in soviet city of Novorossisyk. Up to 35,000 employees will be able to work on up to 10 ships in dry docks and further 10 ships on the fitting-out quay. The World`s biggest dry dock, 600 m length and 80 m beam will be built by the heroic people of the Soviet Union. The complete areal of the 25th October Shipyard Novorossisyk has a length of approx. 9 miles length along the Black Sea coast. Construction will be finished in 1951. The approx. expenditures are $856,500,000.00. A similar complex with 6 dry docks and 6 fitting-out quay is going to be built near the city of Riga. About 15,000 people will built there the pride of the Soviet War and Merchant Fleet. The dry docks have a length of 450 m and a beam of 50 m. Expenditures are expected to be $568,000,000.00. This complex is about to be finished in 1951. Further strength the soviet navy will gain through the beginning construction of the soviet shipyard number 10 near the city of Polyarny. The pride of the soviet underwater fleet will be built in these 6 modern dry docks near the Headquarter of the Soviet Red Banner Northern Fleet in Murmansk. Expected costs are $962,250,000.00 |
