We certainly hope that this pays of for the United States, and hope the money helps the Danish Economy. ooc: On the last charge, there is a difference between Denmark selling of Greenland which is ice, and the British Empire selling of India you know.. It was a economic gesture. On the other charges, I would have to look into it more to comment. But if the governing party situation can be cleared up, there looks like nothing else that would make it anti-historical. Albeit I am not a authority on situations like this, and I do not have all the necessary information required to make a fair judgment, it looks perfectly plausible.. Edit: I have heard from reliable sources that the Conservative Party was elected 4 months ago which leaves, in my opinion, no problem legally or morally whatsoever, with the deal. /ooc |

ooc: An official result has not yet been announced. So the Socialist goverment still rules Denmark and was against this sale. So Greenland is still Danish. No doubt. /ooc |

ooc: they are not. It requires an official result, which has to be announced with the numbers of percentages. Until this has not happened, there is no official result of this election. Thats one of the fundamental requirements of an election. /ooc |

ooc: He had to go on a long trip. He said he elected the cons but wanted to make a nice election post but did not have time. He clearly stated that the conservatives are now in power, therefore, they are. |

I've seen Philip here a few days ago. Also I saw him on MSN, so please dont make a fool of me. I am not silly! He had enough time to announce the results. This did not happened so this purchase did not take place, because the results are missing. They have to be announced with the percentage number and the total number (the total number I do not expect) for each party. Otherwise the elections are not valid and have to be repeated. So please keep the real life rules. /ooc |

ooc: Maybe he got on in a hotel or something, but that does not mean one has time, or at least had time before the purchase was stated. It is not that big of a deal is it? I mean if you push it, they will just do it all over again when he gets back from his trip or something. |

ooc:
That is the definitive fact in regards to the issue. When he has time he will make an election post. He is just unable to do so atm, so please cease the pretended issues. He clearly stated who won the election and will make more detail when he can. |

ooc: that would be okay, if there is change of the goverment. currently the socialist goverment still rules Denmark. And it has always been the position of that goverment not to sale Greenland. Sorry but half a month for a few simple numbers and letters. I think this is enough time for such an easy job
Even Admins should respect the regular rules in case of elections. And this is a fundamental rule. Why do you think was so much trouble in Simbabwe? Because they did not announced the official results! So keep the rules, otherwise I will also not respect the rules! Just to make sure, It is NOT the Greenland question what makes me mad. It is the lack of not respecting rules! /ooc |

OOC: Two things. First- dont discuss it here, discuss it elsehwhere. Second, by our rules, if it was stated, then it is fact (short of being counteracted by admins) |
