At this time, the North remains at its previous level of mobilization, unlike the South. These constant modifications to the argument clearly reinforce the supicion that the South, and their allies, have war plans as their intention. The US may be guaranteeing the safety of South Korea, albeit apparently against Turkey and Germany, as there was no threat from any other quarter prior to their actions. By the same token, China is obliged to protect and guarantee the safety of North Korea against the United States, South Korea and others. It is unacceptable for us to withdraw our forces without a similar action by the foreign troops in the south. We want peace, but we cannot take the risk that others do not share our desire without substantial action to demonstrate that desire. |

HMG asks Mr Mao this. If that is the case, why did North Korea admit to mobilizing with this statement?
Indeed, if there had of been anything that would disqualify that statement, for instance only partial mobilization, then it would actually have been in North Korea's best interests to mention that in his statement. |

Mr. Churchill, to our knowledge North Korea has admited nothing of the sort, nor have we seen any indication that they mobilized their forces for war beyond the readiness at which they already where. The issue remains that South Korea continues to catagorically deny any such actions, despite clear evidence to the contrary. We would urge that we do not further concern ourselves with this, but instead address the issue of the actual situation in korea, not its causes. |

We were referring to what looked to us like they said they had mobilized, and it was cleared up. |

India is concerned with the recent unstable activities in the Asian region. As a member of the region she asks the western powers to tread carefully in order to maintain stability. She favors the Soviet plan but believes it needs to be modified somewhat to give the South protection from the North and China OCC: Geeze I missed quite a party here didn't I |
