The first steps in the independence for Northern Sudan and Punt are beginning to take shape.
Local assemblies are beginning to be formed, with all that implies.
The process is estimated to take between 17 and 19 months, where potential leaders will get a taste for the political life, and gain experience that will suit them well when independence becomes reality.

The plan is for the Sudan area to be divided into two, possibly three areas. Sudan, the northern half, Punt, the southern and possibly Darfur, the western area.
