DATE HELD: June 14th, 2018 on EVOLVE Network
LOCATION: Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
COMMENTATORS:Janine Starling, Trevor Rollins

MATCH ONE
Kai Victorino (Tonga) vs. Wally Lee (Thailand)

To say this was something of a clash of styles would be an understatement. Wally's strategy was to keep out of the grasp of Kai's giant, manly hands. And for the longest time it seemed to be working. Wally was consistently chipping away at Kai, just keeping ahead of the surprisingly agile big man. But Wally grew tired. Wally got desperate. Kai got in some solid impacts. Wally went for a big finish, hooking Kai up for a Bomb Voyage (Standing Sitout Shiranui), but Kai blocked it, keeping Wally up in the air before spinning him round and bringing him crashing down with a Meteor Destroyer (Vertical Suplex Sitout Side Slam) that drove all the air out of him, and gave Kai the big win.

Winner: Kai Victorino

MATCH TWO
Elsa Thorne (Philippines) vs. Mistress Ai (China)

A fast paced bout, Ai looked to improve on her impressive showing in the first round, but Elsa also had stuff to prove. The ferocious hound of the Yasei-gun took it Ai hard, causing a whole load of damage, but Ai was able to weather the storm. A Gamma Ray Burst (Running Bicycle Kick) stunned Elsa, and a Stardust Slam (Standing Fireman's Carry Takeover) put her down... but still the savage dog refused to go down. Ai was forced to dig deep, trying to find something to put Elsa away... but was left wanting, as Elsa managed to wear her down enough with her relentless assault to lock on the DarkStar Asphyxia (Straightjacket Triangle Choke), forcing her to pass out, allowing Elsa the win!

Winner: Elsa Thorne

MATCH THREE
Anna Mathews (Gallifrey) vs. Jillian Clay (Germany)

The intergalactic battle from beyond the stars caught the attention of everybody in the arena, as both alien wrestlers went in all guns blazing. Anna took control early, the Time Lord utilizing her technical skills to keep Jillian grounded. It wasn't enough though, and soon enough her Saturnian fought back with her own technical display, using The ESDG (Headscissors Takedown to Short Armbar) to almost put Anna away, save for a timely rope break. The pair continued on, the crowd getting louder and louder, Anna just taking the edge... until Jillian let rip with a Komet! (Superkick) that Anna just about Matrixed clear of, before hitting an Oblique Kick to Jillian's knee, putting her in position for a Dark Side Of The Moon (Step-Up Triangle Choke), locking Jillian in place, and securing the submission victory.

Winner: Anna Mathews

MATCH FOUR
Carina Eventide (Chile) vs. Mariano Fernandez (Argentina)

Despite the tensions present between the two nations represented here, what we received was a well balanced, honest battle. It was clear the two wrestlers developed an appreciation for each other throughout the battle. Carina definitely came harder, but the troll warrior Mariano managed to frustrate her efforts, and used that to his advantage. A concentrated effort put Eventide on the back foot, with an Arrow To The Knee (Dropkick to the knee) cutting her flat, and the ensuing Dovahkiin Driver (Vertical Suplex Piledriver) finishing her off, and taking the win for Argentina!

Winner: Mariano Fernandez

MATCH FIVE
Blaise Fader (England) vs. Joanna the Jungle Girl (Brazil)

This was an interesting one, as the girl from the Amazon Jungle took on the girl from Coventry's concrete jungle. It's not often when Joanna is out muscled in female competition, but she definitely struggled against the mighty Blaise. Joanna's ruthless pace, however, served her well, and for a long time all Fader could do was ride out the storm... until she managed to land an Exocet (Running Big Boot) that would have taken Joanna out of her boots if she wore any. From there on Blaise physically dominated the match, her impressive showing culminating in a Coventry Blitz (Argentine Powerbomb) for the three count.

Winner: Blaise Fader

MATCH SIX
.PAAK (South Korea) vs. Masaru Inoue (Japan)

Arguably the most aggressive match of the night, as the Death Match King, Masaru Inoue, threw everything he had at .PAAK, attacking hard and fast... the South Korean veteran welcoming it! A fast, strike intensive strong style battle followed, resulting in both competitors being battered, bleeding, bruised... and ready for more. Masaru used the environment to his advantage, using the whole of ringside as a weapon against her, but .PAAK kept on coming, relishing the opportunity to have an opponent that would allow her aggression to reign unchecked. Masaru managed to regain the edge, however, and after slamming her head off the turnbuckle, went for his Kill Shot! (Shin Kick to the neck), only for .PAAK to intercept him with a Doze Trigger (Spinning Backfist), knocking him senseless, and allowing her to just about pick up the fall!

Winner: .PAAK

MATCH SEVEN
Danielle Vasquez (Peru) vs. Noelle Smith (Morocco)

The match was very even affair, with several near falls for each competitor. The action turned on a dime on a number of occasions as both refused to stay down. Eventually, both grew tired as the match wore on. With one final burst of effort, Noelle managed to catch Danielle with a Flip Trip (Snapmare). She followed up with a Moroccan Sunset (Axe Kick), but Danielle managed to roll clear! Noelle kept on the attack, only to get surprised by The Heavy Hitter (Tilt-a-Whirl DDT). Noelle forced herself off the mat, but Danielle was there, and ready with The Peru Passion (Huracanrana Driver). Both fell to the mat, exhausted, but it was Danielle who moved first, flopping over Noelle to get the fall.

Winner: Danielle Vasquez

MAIN EVENT
Kenzie Rowe (Canada) vs. Owen Gonsalves (Australia)

The final match of the night was as exciting as everybody hoped for, with the Flame-Hair Flyer from Canada giving her all against Australia's Submission Alchemist. Kenzie was strong early, taking it to Owen quickly to try and take the win early, a Springboard Spinning Sitout Sleeper Slam nearly securing her the early fall... but as time wore on, Owen's slow and steady approach started to shine through. Kenzie's aggression faltered, and Owen's persistance paid off, as he began wearing her down with joint holds and concentrated attacks, softening her up for one of his patented submission finishers. What he wasn't prepared for, however, was the flexibility of Kenzie, as she contorted her own body in surprising fashion to keep the pressure off of his holds, frustrating him. Forced to improvise, Owen transitioned to a more strike based offensive, suddenly looking for a Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike (Running Bicycle Knee) out of nowhere... but speed is Kenzie's wheelhouse, and he managed to cartwheel out of danger. As Owen grew frustrated, Kenzie managed to manipulate him further, forcing him to over extend himself whilst she chipped away at him... before the golden opportunity came. Owen attempted a Darkest Lariat (Wristlock Short-Arm Lariat), but as he whipped her out Rowe slipped out of his grip, wheeling away, and "accidentally" knocking the referee down! Owen charged in, looking to follow up... only to get a Dick Kick (Low Blow Kick) for his trouble! Kenzie was quick to transition him into a Death Rowe (Small Package Driver), even managing to hook Owen's feet under the bottom rope to keep him from kicking out as the groggy ref called the 3!

Winner: Kenzie Rowe
