1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Nem vs Chelle Harper Day #1 of the Rookie X Cup kicked off with former Rising Star champion, Chelle Harper, and Nem, who is known for his time in LDFC. Chelle quickly started showing aggression, chopping down the big man to size early. Nem fought back and made Chelle pay for her early attack. But Chelle fought back near the end and was looking to finish it with the 6 Second Tan, only for Ingrid Storm's theme to hit! Chelle quickly turned her attention to the entranceway, where Ingrid stood. This provided enough distraction for Nem to hook his arms around her waist and hit a german suplex with a bridge, getting a three count, Chelle managing to kick out a second too late! After the match, Nem had his hand raised while Chelle looked at the entranceway, seething. Winner: Nem (13:09) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Heather Storm vs CruZe The second match of the night was very one sided. Heather Storm just didn't seem ready and barely got any offense in as CruZe, the huge trash talker, kept taking her down, even getting in her face about it. Heather tried mounting a comeback at the end, but CruZe stopped it short, hitting a Cibernetic Kick to a kneeling Heather and getting the three count. Post match, CruZe exited the ring, took one of the commentator's phones, and took a selfie with the Rookie X Cup, which was ringside. He handed the phone back and told the commentator he had just taken a picture that represents what's going to happen at the end of this tournament. Winner: CruZe (4:36) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Macy Dover vs Malcolm Xaba Macy Dover and Malcolm Xaba quickly kicked things off by locking up and fighting for position, Xaba eventually getting a headlock. Xaba would continue to frustrate Macy throughout the match, even going as far as taunting her while he was on the attack and letting his manager provide distractions for him. The match came to a close when Malcolm was basking in the boos from the audience, then turned around and ate a knee to the face, the Dover Drop connecting! Macy went for the cover and got a three count and the victory! After the match, Macy threatened to knee Xaba's manager before stepping over the laid out Xaba and celebrated in the ring to a mixed reaction. Winner: Macy Dover (9:32) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Shouta Kurosawa vs MOTO Shouta and MOTO kicked the match off with a handshake, the commentators mentioning that the two lived in the same orphanage when younger. MOTO took early control, but Shouta's slight edge in experience led to him hitting a tornado enzuigiri before going top rope. He then hit the Shouta Stomp before going for the three count and getting the victory. After the match, Shouta got to his feet and pointed to the cup before pointing back to himself. Winner: Shouta Kurosawa (7:09) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Joanna Jane Tarzana vs La Sombra This was the most even match of the night so far. La Sombra and Joanna both got their shots in and had many near falls. La Sombra even went as far as to hit a tornado DDT on the outside. La Sombra looked to put the match away 9 minutes in, but Joanna surprisingly caught her into a small package before getting a three count and the victory! Joanna slid out of the ring afterwards, smiling as she realized she was one step closer to gaining that trophy. Winner: Joanna Jane Tarzana (9:55) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Theo Plourde vs The Crimson Baroness Theo kicked the match off by bullrushing TCB, pulling her and hitting a belly to belly suplex! Theo kept his attack going as he tried to keep the LDFC wrestler down. Unfortunately, like his partner, the Frenchman got too cocky and paid for it. TCB hit Dom'd, driving Theo's head into the mat before she went for the cover and got a three count! After the match, Crimson Baroness blew the knocked out Theo a kiss, then exited the ring, a sly grin on her face. Winner: The Crimson Baroness (3:42) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) World Crown Championship Danielle Vasquez (c) vs Zelda Rune The match kicked off with Zelda and Danielle getting in each other's faces. Zelda took control first, catching Danielle with a knee to the face before she went on the attack, aiming for the face mostly. Danielle quickly fought back, catching Zelda with hard shots that had some anger behind them. But Zelda didn't back down and even tried stealing a victory, getting a few close calls, but the rollup pins werent working. This played to Danielle's advantage as she seemed in a healthier state about 10 minutes into this match. Up until the end, Danielle just kept weakening Zelda. But the tide turned as Danielle missed with Qoya, Zelda pulling her head out of Danielle's grip and sending her head first into an exposed turnbuckle (which Zelda had ripped the cover off of earlier). Zelda then followed that up by catching a keeled over Danielle with the Pale Blade and going for the cover, getting the three count! Zelda was awarded the title after the match, a small grin on her face. She stared down at the laid out Danielle and raised her title high in the air, closing out Day 1 with what most people would consider an upset. Winner (and NEW champion): Zelda Rune (14:54) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Sergei Orlovsky vs Caillie Thibedeau This was a very good match between two fierce competitors. There were many strikes thrown out by both Caillie and Sergei, and the big man seemed to have underestimated his foe as she nearly took a victory many times. Caillie even threw out a couple of submissions against Sergei, nearly forcing him to tap and definitely weakening him. The match almost came to a screeching halt when Caillie tried to Irish whip Sergei into the ropes, only for him to reverse it and throw her towards the ropes instead. She hit off of them and bounced back, getting tossed up and caught with a pop-up uppercut! Sergei went for the cover and got the three count and victory for himself! After the match, Sergei was handed back his title and had his hand raised by Anastasia as the audience booed him. Winner: Sergei Orlovsky (9:19) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Yurei Itsukushima vs AKIRA Kaede This was an interesting matchup. AKIRA Kaede seemed to be shining with confidence as she stepped up to fight Yurei Itsukushima, but that was quickly wiped away when Yurei hit a dropkick! Yurei stayed on the attack early, catching AKIRA off guard many times and even rolling her up once, only to get a two count! This match was practically all Yurei, but the end result is what mattered as one small mistake cost her. Yurei gave AKIRA breathing room and when she charged in, she was met with a roundhouse kick! AKIRA then locked in a rolling armbar before Yurei was forced to tap out, giving AKIRA the win! Winner: AKIRA Kaede (8:43) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Izzy Anders vs Itzak Panzram This was a true David vs Goliath fight. While Anders was the projected favorite, the fact that she had to take on an athlete the caliber of Itzak Panzram, who was stronger than her, was difficult. Izzy started off well, cutting Itzak down to size, but the power of Itzak quickly came into play. He seemed to favor suplexes a lot throughout the match, using a German every time he killed Izzy's momentum. Izzy would get the last laugh, however. She would hit Capetown Sunset, Itzak running right into the 540 kick! The GAG star would then go for the cover and get the three count and the first of possibly many victories! Winner: Izzy Anders (7:32) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Odyn Davel Balou III vs Haruko Mori The match kicked off with ODBIII quickly cornering Haruko and working her body with some body shots. All eyes were on Balou as he didn't look too great, having not really fought a wrestling match in his career. But in the end, Haruko Mori ran into a closed fist right uppercut as she was mounting an attack, leading to ODBIII getting the victory! After the match, ODBIII said this match was no problem as he looked into the nearest camera. He then celebrated some more as Kentucky booed him. Winner: Odyn Davel Balou III (6:19) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) MECHA APE vs Cayla Phoenix MECHA APE quickly took advantage to start this match as he took down a charging Cayla Phoenix with a shoulderblock! MECHA, seemingly looking frustrated at the fact that he's been having a bad couple of weeks, was on fire early. He cornered Cayla multiple times and weakened her with multiple chops to the chest. But Cayla showed some fight and fought back, obviously looking to keep her hopes alive in this tournament. But MECHA was relentless and eventually looked ready to hit the APE BOMBER~! He went for his devastating lariat, but Cayla used her quick reflexes to duck it and roll MECHA up, getting a three count! Cayla rolled out of the ring afterwards, smiling as MECHA stood in the ring, looking more frustrated than before. Winner: Cayla Phoenix (8:44) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Gage Kaiser vs Ingrid Storm The two competitors started this match off with a handshake before locking up. Ingrid took advantage early, weakening Gage with some of her power moves. But Gage wasn't going to just let this match slip out of his fingers as he fought back and looked to weaken the big woman, obviously knowing he wasn't going to win this match by brute force. Near the end, Ingrid hit a sitout powerbomb and went for the cover, getting a two count. She then got to her feet, and Chelle Harper's theme hit! Ingrid focused her attention on the entranceway and Chelle appeared at the top, arms folded and a smirk on her face. Ingrid threatened Chelle to come and fight her, but Chelle stayed rooted. Ingrid then turned around...and got caught with the Fury Cutter! Gage rolled her over and pinned her, getting the win! Chelle clapped her hands slowly as Gage celebrated and Ingrid stared at her, seething, just like Chelle had done last night. Winner: Gage Kaiser (12:50) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Donovan Cross vs Utopia Vidal Before the match kicked off, LDFC's Donovan Cross extended his hand out to Utopia Vidal, looking for a handshake. Utopia, being a complete prick, decide to catch Donnie with a cheap shot instead to kick things off. Utopia kept in control early, grounding Donnie, but his cockiness allowed Donnie to fight back for a few minutes. Eventually Utopia would regain control and would slow the match down, stomping at the hands and feet of Donnie. He would even go as repeatedly slapping him over the head, taunting him to get up. Utopia's assholeness would bite him in the ass as in the end, Donnie would catch Utopia with his patent running single leg dropkick. Southern Charm, before going for the cover and getting the three count! The biggest pop of the night belonged to the young man after his victory. Smiling, he celebrated with the fans, slapping hands and taking pictures. Winner: Donovan Cross (10:57) |

1st Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Laura Seville vs Huracan Rojo The main event kicked off with Huracan Rojo looking for a sign of sportsmanship from Laura Seville as he offered his hand to her. She surprisingly took it, offering up a fake smile, before the two broke apart. They then proceeded to lock up before Laura got Huracan in a headlock, then performed a headlock takedown. Laura's offensive stand wouldn't last long as a few minutes, Huracan caught her with a hurricanrana! This lead to Rojo showing off his lucha skills as the match picked up a hell of a lot more speed. He caught Laura with a dropkick at one point that sent her out of the ring, before he himself dived out and landed on her with a tope con hilo! The audience began chanting Rojo's name as he pretty much dominated the majority of the match. However, at the end, when he and Laura were both out of the ring, she had been backpedaling away from him. He moved closer towards her and she pulled at his tights, forcing him forward and driving him skull first into the steel steps. Laura eventually rolled him back in. She then waited for Huracan to get up before catching him with a spinning heel kick! She went for the cover and got the three! After the match, the show came to a close with Laura pointing at the Rookie X Cup, signaling that she would bring that cup home with her at the end of the week. Winner: Laura Seville (13:20) |

2nd Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Odyn Davel Balou III vs Joanna Jane Tarzana This match kicked off with Balou quickly rushing Tarzana and cornering her before catching her with multiple knees to the gut. He then proceeded to throw her towards the center of the ring, using his strength advantage. The first offensive flurry from Balou was basically spent with him hitting some more basic wrestling moves, such as a snap suplex and a shoulderblock. Unfortunately for Balou, Tarzana began fighting back and starting showing her jungle prowess as she used her speed to weaken the former Project Continuum member. Throughout her offensive flurry, she hit a tornado DDT before she went for the cover and got a two count! Joanna continued to keep Balou grounded, knowing that that was going to be the key to success. Plenty of times it looked like she was going to put the match away, he offensive flurry being longer than Balou’s first, but Balou kept kicking out. Eventually, the former Lionheart champion would fight back and would hit his patent Superman Punch (which he calls the Superhuman Punch), laying Joanna out. But, because the two seemed to have issues over Twitter, Balou took it a step further and ended this match by locking in a full nelson clutch (aka Congo Line), forcing Joanna to tap out! After the match, Balou screamed that this fight wasn’t much of a problem either and questioned when it was going to be a problem. Nobody answered him, because we had no idea what would be considered a problem for him. Winner: Odyn Davel Balou III (10:44) |

2nd Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Cayla Phoenix vs Cassandra Winter The match started off with Cassandra and Cayla locking up. The two women moved around for position, but it ended up being Cassandra who would get it first, sweeping at Cayla’s feet and knocking her down to the mat on her back. Cassandra followed that with an elbow drop before going for the cover, only to get a two count! Cassandra continued to keep Cayla grounded, obviously looking to make short work of her. But Cayla began fighting back only a few minutes into the match and caught Cassandra with a belly to belly suplex before going for the cover and getting a two count! Cayla continued her uses of suplexes throughout her attack, even hitting a German suplex that sent Cassandra rolling to the outside to safety. When the fight spilled to the outside is when the tide turned. Cassandra hit a snap suplex on Cayla onto the ground outside before rolling into the ring. Cayla managed to roll in herself before the 10 count, keeping herself alive. Cassandra then went on the attack and looked to end things minutes later. She went for Regret, but Cayla dodged the closed fist uppercut, then caught Cassandra with a bridging tiger suplex (aka Phoenix Down), keeping the pin attempt on it, allowing her to get the three count! Post match, Cayla and her manager celebrated yet another victory, Cayla looking a bit tired afterwards. Winner: Cayla Phoenix (13:21) |

2nd Round Match (15 Minute Time Limit) Gage Kaiser vs Shouta Kurosawa The match starts off with Shouta blitzing out of the corner and dropkicking Kaiser right in the chest, sending him rocketing backwards into the corner. The Project Continuum Member doesn't let up, moving towards the corner and placing his boot right against Kaiser's throat and began to choke the life out of him as the referee tried to pull him away. Kurosawa kept control of the match as he pulled Kaiser from the corner and out to the center of the ring, before going for a Standing Moonsault. The speed and quickness of "The Cheetah" was beginning to overwhelm Kaiser in the early goings of the match. The Western Ronin wouldn't stay down for long as he fought back into the match, catching Kurosawa coming in on a Springboard with a HUGE jumping knee strike right on the chin. Yanking Shouta back up to his feet, Kaiser pulled him in close and hooked him, before tossing him with a Sambo Suplex. Dropping down, Kaiser went for the pin to advance in the tournament, but only got a count of two. The two were evenly matched as the match continued, with neither able to sustain the advantage for long. As the match went on, the more frustrated Kurosawa seemed to get that he couldn't put The Western Ronin away or keep him down for very long. Tossing Kaiser into the corner, Kurosawa began to deliver vicious elbow strikes repeatedly right at the face of his opponent. The referee tried to pull him away several times, but Shouta wouldn't budge as he struck Kaiser again and again. Given no choice, the referee called for the bell, disqualifying Kurosawa and giving the win to Kaiser via disqualification. Kurosawa was IRATE when he realized what happened, leveling the referee with a heated glare as he moves towards him. The ref backed into the far corner in fear, but Shouta decided against retaliation as he rolled out of the ring, walking up the ramp to a chorus of boos from the crowd. Winner: Gage Kaiser (12:00) |
